A tale as old as time comes to Torquay
Welcome to the Princess Theatre this Winter! We are delighted to welcome our brand new pantomime producer, Jordan Productions to Torquay who are bringing the fabulous Beauty and the Beast to the Princess Theatre for the first time this Christmas, filled with all the traditional pantomime elements and oo-la-laughs. If you haven’t booked yet, make sure to secure your seats – plus if you have already booked, next year’s panto will go on sale in early December, so for the first time ever, you will be able to book your favourite seats even earlier. We are also thrilled to be welcoming Blood Brothers back to Torquay next March. If you have teenagers studying for GCSEs, make sure to check out our Revision on Tour titles; there are three to choose from – Macbeth, Dr Jekyll & Mr Hyde and Romeo & Juliet. All this, plus our usual collection of entertainment to suit everyone, from Professor Brian Cox and Rick Stein, Strictly favourite Giovanni and something for the kids with Sing-a-Long-a shows. Plus, don’t forget you can book your pre-theatre dining directly with us and take the stress out of your night out! We all have a part to play in making sure the theatre is a fantastic experience for all – you can help by ensuring the professionals on-stage are the only people entertaining us with their performances, and being kind to our dedicated staff, who are here to keep everyone safe. Anti-social behaviour towards our staff or other customers will not be tolerated.
Behind the curtain This summer, we opened our venue to our ATG+ members to invite them in to hear about upcoming shows, have a backstage tour and join us for refreshments in our top deck. The morning event sold out within 48 hours, and proved very popular. It was wonderful to be able to welcome our members into the theatre and give them a sneaky peek behind the curtain. We will be looking to hold another members’ event toward Christmas, so keep an eye on your emails for your invite. Due to the varying nature of our shows and their set design, we cannot guarantee an unrestricted view from all seats at all times. For the most up-to-date information please check online. ATG+ Membership, group ticket prices and any special offers, are subject to availability and can change or be withdrawn at any time. Family tickets are for 4 people with a maximum of 2 adults.
