The United Arab Emirates is well known for its innovation, diversity, oil wealth, luxury lifestyle, tourist attractions and being home to Dubai the most fascinating city in the
Still, poverty does exist, particularly among lower-income migrant workers, many of whom earn $163 to $408 per month in a city where the estimated monthly cost of living for a single person is $1,084 without rent Migrants are sheltered in labor camps and employed in the construction, manufacturing and service sectors. Most have left spouses and children back in their home countries, where they send their earnings to support their families.
I Imagine making $5 a day and supporting your entire family in another country Food and hygiene items might become a distant luxury. During the Pacific Cluster Conference service project, Alpha Kappa Alpha will do its part to showcase the true meaning of our mission of service to all mankind by visiting the Muhaisnah Labor Camp and blessing women and men living there with food and hygiene items, while taking key health stats
