is Basileus of Omicron Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® at the University of Cincinnati. In addition to being chapter president, she currently serves as an Undergraduate Admissions Student Ambassador, an executive board member of Sisters Impacting Sisters, and a Cincinnati Public Schools student teacher in a 6th grade math classroom. Within theis sorority, she has also held the role of Vice Financial Secretary. Ms. Gordon was initiated in April of 2021 into the Omicron Chapter at the University of Cincinnati in Cincinnati, OH.
Ms. Gordon is pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Middle Childhood Education, with concentrations in math and language arts.! She is currently an AAIMS Scholar (African American Initiative in Mathematics and Science), where she mentors minority underclassmen who are also pursuing degrees in the math education program. Following graduation Cierra plans to begin her career as a middle school teacher in an inner-city school, while also starting a graduate program in School Psychology, and eventually getting her doctorate degree. While Cierra’s long term goals are constantly changing, they all lead to the same destination of leaving the education system better than how she found it. She wants to have a positive impact on the lives of those around her, become a lifelong mentor to the students she will have the privilege of working with, and work within the school system to provide a greater experience for students, workers, and the community overall!
is Basileus of Zeta Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® at Wilberforce University. Along with being chapter president she serves as NPHC Vice President at Wilberforce, Ohio and Eastern Regional Director for the National Pre-Alumni Council with UNCF for the 2022-23 school year. Within the sorority, she also serves as the Membership Chairman and Program Chairman. Lennoja Hawkins was initiated in the Spring of 2021 into Zeta Chapter at Wilberforce, Ohio.
Ms. Hawkins is a Senior at Wilberforce University majoring in Political Science. As an undergraduate student at Wilberforce University, Lennoja has taken advantage of many opportunities to immerse herself in the culture and offerings of the University; becoming a member of the Jazzer Dance Team, a First Year Experience Leader, and joining Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Lennoja performs well academically achieving Dean’s and President’s List honors. Following graduation, Lennoja plans to become an educator and focus on education reform.
Soror Ahria Laniya Campbell is Basileus of the Bold and Beautiful Beta Mu Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® at Wayne State University. During her time at Wayne State University, she has devoted much of her time to serving her peers and community. She has served on the Public Relations Committee of the Black Student Union, been a member of the Student Activities Funding Board and NAACP, was a Student Orientation Leader for two consecutive years, and a participant of Alternative Spring Break Detroit in 2020. Miss Campbell is also the current President of P.O.I.S.E (People of Intense Self-Expression) Detroit. She was initiated into the Beta Mu Chapter in the Fall of 2021 where she held the role of Vice President.
Miss Campbell is pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Philosophy, with a minor in Communication Studies. Miss Campbell has been on Wayne State’s Dean List for four consecutive semesters. Outside of her academics, Miss Campbell is a manager at the Nike Clearance Store in Auburn Hills, MI. Upon graduation, Miss Campbell plans to attend law school, become a family lawyer, and eventually own her own law firm.

Soror Shelise Stinson is the Basileus of The Devoted Delta Pi Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated ® at the University of Akron. She was initiated in 2019 into the Delta Pi Chapter at The University of Akron in Akron, OH. In addition to being chapter president, she has previously served as Akron University’s National Pan-Hellenic Council president. Within the sorority she has held numerous positions including Ivy Leaf Reporter, Ms. Stinson is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She graduated in Spring 2019 with her Associate of Medical Assisting with a certificate in Billing and Coding. Ms. Stinson is a proud recipient of the 2021 Order of Omega-Thomas J. Vukovich Award for outstanding leadership within The University of Akron’s fraternity and sorority community. She enjoys being a youth mentor, community volunteer and coaching cheerleading/dance. As a nursing major, Ms. Stinson currently works as a Nurse Technician for Cleveland Clinic Akron General and plans to continue her education after graduation to become a Nurse Practitioner.
is Basileus of the Delta Phi Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, at The Ohio University in Athens, Ohio. Ms. Granger also serves as Membership Chairman and Chaplin within the chapter. In April 2022, she represented the university’s Greek community as the only student who was a member of the selection committee for Ohio University’s newly installed Director of Sorority and Fraternity Life. Ms. Granger was initiated fall 2o21 into the Delta Phi Chapter at The Ohio University in Athens, OH.
Ms. Granger is studying Business Pre-Law and Marketing and will graduate with a Bachelor of Business Administration in May 2023. She stays active within Ohio University by serving as President and Special Events chair for the Black Student Cultural Programming Board (BSCPB). BSCPB is a Tier 1 organization at Ohio University that was founded to ensure black students have fair programming and representation across campus. In addition, she is a member of Phi Sigma Pi National Honor Fraternity. Outside of campus life, Ms. Granger’s interests include yoga, trying new restaurants, spending time with family and service. She serves the Athens community by volunteering with the Athens office of Southeastern Ohio Legal Services, under the Ohio State Legal Services Association (Legal Aid) umbrella. She also had the opportunity to complete her summer 2022 internship with the Athens office where she conducted client intake for over 100 Athens residents in need of civil legal representation. Upon graduation, Ms. Granger will be attending law school in fall 2023 to pursue a career in corporate law.
Soror Jessica Rose Taylor is the Basileus of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® Delta Chi chapter. In addition to being chapter president, she participates in campus organizations such as You Come First and Project Big Sister. Within the Sorority, she has held several roles including Vice President and Epistoleus. Ms. Taylor was initiated in the Spring of 2021 into the Delta Chi Chapter at Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, MI.
Ms. Taylor is pursuing a Bachelor of Health Services and Sciences at Western Michigan University where her focus is on nursing. After graduating she plans to complete a second-degree nursing program to then get her BSN. She is also a volunteer at the ‘Catfe’ cat café in Ferndale, MI which is a non-profit, no-kill cat shelter. Currently, Jessica also works as a patient-care assistant at Ascension Borgess where she acts as a major part of patients’ direct care team.

These involvements include her roles as a peer mentor with the Morrill Scholars Program, the Senator for the College of Food, Agriculture, and Environmental Sciences in Ohio State’s 53rd General Assembly, and the Undergraduate Student Government Senior Director of Allocations. Kira was inducted into the 116th Sphinx Senior Honorary Class in recognition of her involvement on campus and is currently a part of the 2022 Ohio State University Homecoming Court.
Ms. Jones is pursuing a joint degree in Environmental Policy & Decision Making, and Public Policy Analysis, on a Pre-Law track. As an environmental policy student, she has conducted research on intersectional environmental justice issues as a summer fellow with the College of Engineering Research in Sustainable Energy Program and is a current research assistant with the Rea Environment and Society Lab. In addition
is the President of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® Lambda Mu Chapter at Miami University. In addition to serving as President, Mackenzie also serves as Sisterly Relations Chair for the chapter. Mackenzie was initiated into the Lambda Mu in Spring
Ms. Lee is pursuing two Bachelors of Science degrees in Supply Chain and Operations Management and Marketing. Mackenzie has stayed involved at her business school, the Farmer School of Business, serving as the Vice President of Marketing for the Multicultural Business Association, a Student Fellow in the Center for Business Leadership, and as a member of the Business Student Advisory Council. Additionally, she serves as a PR/ MKT Co-Director for Miami University Fashion & Design, helping her bridge her interest in both fashion and business. Outside of Miami, Mackenzie is a part of two national professional development organizations, Management Leadership for Tomorrow (MLT) and Seizing Every Opportunity (SEO). Upon graduation, Mackenzie plans to move to Chicago to work for Bain & Company as an Associate Consultant. In addition to her interest in fashion and business, she is passionate about social justice, mentorship, and community building.
Soror Alexis Marnique Lenoir serves as the Basileus of the Mu Phi Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® located on the campus of Saginaw Valley State University. In addition to serving as chapter president, she has also served on the 2021 Undergraduate Round Up Committee under the direction of the current International Regional Director, Soror Carrie J. Clark. Within the sorority, she has held several roles including Vice President, Programs/Targets Chairman, Chaplain, and Sisterly Relations Chairman. Miss. Lenoir was initiated on April 25th, 2021 into the Mu Phi Chapter at Saginaw Valley State University in Saginaw, Michigan.
Ms. Lenoir is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Health Science with a minor in Interdisciplinary Studies. She has worked with a variety of populations, including adolescents, adults, and the elderly, to prepare for her future as a therapist. At Shields Comfort in Saginaw, Michigan, Miss. Lenoir has worked as a Caregiver, a Medpasser, and was ultimately promoted to a supervisor. She had also acquired her certifications while working as a Mental Health Technician at HealthSource Saginaw, Registered Behavioral Technician at Children's Therapy Corner in Midland, Michigan, and currently as a Life Enrichment Assistant at Edgewood Assisted Living in Saginaw, Michigan. Additionally, she is CPR/First Aid/AED certified. With Miss Lenoir’s educational background and certifications, she plans to apply to a Master’s program to pursue a career as an Occupational Therapist, along with being a great mother to her unborn child. In addition to her plans, she is interested in using her experience and knowledge to provide opportunities for future therapists and would like to provide mentorship to others as they strive to be successful in their work environment.
Soror Naja Ratcliff is the Basileus of Nu Phi Chapter at Oakland University. In addition to being chapter president, she has served as a peer youth mentor for Project Upward Bound at Oakland University. Naja is a fall 2021 initiate into the sorority and immediately began her work. Within the Sorority, she has helped co-create and lead successful winter 2022 Skee-Week events such as the Women’s Healthcare and Wellness Informational. She has also participated and represented her chapter at numerous volunteer events for example, the PUB College Panel and the Walton Charter Academy Back to School Bash.
Naja Ratcliff is a graduating senior and will obtain her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree in December 2022. As a nursing student, Naja has maintained being a well-rounded student balancing her academics, jobs and extracurriculars. Along with being a peer mentor as aforementioned, she has also served as a youth volunteer for Youth Time Real Talk at her church for the city of Pontiac. Ms. Ratcliff was also a part of the Oakland University hip-hop dance team Intrigue and she was featured in the university’s first Advancing Oakland Magazine. Outside of volunteering and extracurriculars Ms. Ratcliff has used her passion for helping youth by speaking at the University of WindsorAfrican Diaspora Youth Conference and maintaining semester honors and being a Dean’s List scholar. Naja currently works as a labor and delivery nurse extern at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. Upon graduation, Naja Ratcliff plans to work as a labor and delivery registered nurse. In addition, she hopes to become a labor and delivery travel nurse and hopefully open her own non-profit organization that will aid in mentoring young girls into growing into well-rounded phenomenal women.

Soror Kylar Cartiér Daniels is Basileus of Xi Phi Chapter on the campus of The University of Michigan - Dearborn. In addition to her being chapter president, she serves her university’ s newspaper The Michigan Journal as a Staff Writer for the Arts & Entertainment Section and as a Student Volunteer at her university’ s Student Food Pantry. Her hobbies are makeup artistry, graphic design, videography, photography, drawing, and painting.
Ms. Daniels is pursuing a Bachelor’s of Business Administration degree in Digital Marketing, with a certification in Public Relations. As a Digital Marketing major, Kylar has been an active member, in university organizations such as Women In Business, American Marketing Association, Public Relations Student Society of America, and the National Student Society of Leadership & Success. She is also a Summer 2022 University of MichiganDearborn Study Abroad Participant in the Paris, France program.
Soror Kylar has also used her talents outside of the university by interning as a Social Media Specialist for the brand Strut In Her Shoes and experienced being a Market Researcher for DP+ Advertising Agency in Spring 2021. She recently completed a Digital Marketing internship program for Fall 2022 with the organization, Girls In Marketing. Upon graduation, Soror Kylar plans to pursue a marketing management career in the fashion or beauty industry.
Soror Hollie Ballentine is the Basileus of the Sigma Zeta Chapter at Albion College. In addition to her role as president in her chapter, she also holds the position of Ivy Leaf reporter, Technology Chairman, and Parliamentarian. She also serves as the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion officer for the Panhellenic Council on Albion’ s campus. In Spring 21 Hollie Ballentine was initiated into the Sigma Zeta Chapter at Albion College.
Ms. Ballentine is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Management with a concentration in Business and Public Policy. She is a part of two institutes on campus Carl A. Gerstacker Institute for Business and Management and Gerald R. Ford Institute for Leadership. After graduation, Ms. Ballentine plans to work as an independent consultant to non-profits and small startup businesses. In addition to her career plans, she plans to spend her time working with high school seniors to prepare them for college, and working toward making the environment a better place.
Soror Iyanna Williams is Basileus of the Upsilon Lambda Chapter at Buffalo State College. Iyanna is also a charter member of the chapter and is the very first president. In addition to serving as chapter president, Iyanna has served on the Inter Greek Association council at Buffalo State College. Soror Iyanna was initiated as a charter member of Upsilon Lambda November 21, 2021.
Ms. Williams is pursuing a degree in Exceptional and Childhood Education with a minor in English. As an exceptional education major, Ms. Williams has been an active member in the national organization, Student Council for Exceptional Children and she currently holds the position of organization representative on the executive board. She also is an Equal Opportunity Program (EOP) mentor at Buffalo State College. Ms. Williams also serves as Buffalo State College, State University of New York (SUNY) EOP ambassador. Ms. Williams uses her talents outside of the college as a teaching partner in fourth grade with Tapestry Charter School. Upon graduation, Ms. Williams plans to attend graduate school where she will pursue a master’s degree in Higher Education Administration. In addition to her love for students and child development, Ms. Williams is big on mentorship, equity and maintaining selfcare.

She is a recipient of The Gates Scholarship and has received University Honors throughout her time at the University of Michigan. She has served as Target Chair for the HBCU for Life: A Call To Action initiative. Ms. Jackson was initiated into the Beta Chapter at the University of Michigan - Ann Arbor in the Fall of 2021.
Ms. Jackson is pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Biopsychology, Cognition & Neuroscience on the pre-med track, with a minor in Gender & Health. She has previously served as a tutor in Statistics for students within the Comprehensive Studies Program at the University. Currently, Ms. Jackson works as a research assistant in the University of Michigan School of Nursing within the RobLane Lab conducting research on black family caregivers of persons with dementia and working to create education modules and adequate coping interventions for these caregivers. Within this research, she was able to be recognized as first author in an abstract published by The Gerontological Society of America (GSA) and presented at the GSA 2021 Annual Scientific Meeting in November of 2021. Upon graduation, she plans to attend medical school in the future and work as a trained doula during a gap year. Jasmine is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in Law and Social Thought with an emphasis on Literature and Social Work. As a member of the Law and Social Thought community on campus Ms. Fox has been an active voice in the Honors College, completed independent research on the School to Prison Pipeline, and a participant in the Inside Out Prison Exchange Program. Jasmine is a member of URGE a pro-choice campus organization, and a YWCA Rape Crisis Advocate. In addition, Ms. Fox works full time as a based Youth Case Manager for inner-city elementary students in Toledo. Upon graduation Ms. Fox plans to pursue a graduate degree and intends to focus on social justice and advocacy work.

SOROR GWENDOLYN L. KIRTLEY was installed as the Great Lakes Regional Director of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® in July 2022 at the 70th biennial international convention in Orlando, Florida. She will execute her term under the dynamic leadership of Danette Anthony Reed, the sorority’s International President & CEO.
As Regional Director, she is responsible for leading over 7,000 accomplished, educated, and service-oriented women who commit daily to enhancing the lives of their respective communities. With a vision for a “Greater” Great Lakes Region, Ms. Kirtley has galvanized members from the great states of Michigan, Ohio, Western Pennsylvania, Western New York, and West Virginia to grow “Greater Together” in service and sisterhood.
Ms. Kirtley was initiated as a charter member of Nu Upsilon Chapter at Capital University in 1981. With more than 40 years of committed service to her beloved sisterhood, she is both a Silver Star and a Life Member. She is the epitome of an Alpha Kappa Alpha woman on a mission to serve all mankind. She has leveraged her professional and business acumen at every level of the organization with a focus on raising the next generation of the sorority’s leaders, prioritizing mentorship, collaboration, and inclusion. As a member of the sorority’s first graduate chapter, Alpha Omega, she has held numerous roles including: President; First Vice President; Second Vice President; Chairman of Membership, Program, and Standards Committees; and Chairman of the Alpha Omega Foundation, Incorporated®. At the regional level, she has served as the Northern Ohio/Western Pennsylvania Cluster Coordinator, Chairman of the President’s Council, Protocol Chairman, and Co-Chairman of the 87th Great Lakes Regional Conference. Internationally, as a member of the Leadership Development Committee, she co-designed the curriculum and has facilitated training for hundreds of members who have earned various sorority certifications. She has presented nearly one hundred sorority workshops and has served as Founders’ Day keynote speaker for celebrations in the region. Ms. Kirtley is a recipient of numerous awards and accolades of distinction, notably the Great Lakes Region Margaret Davis Bowen Graduate Basileus Award and the Pamela L. Redden Outstanding Silver Star Award.
Professionally, Gwendolyn Kirtley retired with over 36 years of experience with State Farm Insurance as a Claims Service Support Supervisor and Claims & Litigation Specialist. As an active member of the State Farm Weather & Catastrophe Team, the largest catastrophe team and fleet in the insurance industry, Ms. Kirtley directed disaster relief and provided aid amid the impact of Hurricanes Katrina, Sandy, Harvey, Irma, Maria, and Andrew. She is a former board member of the American Red Cross, Berea Family & Children Services, Garfield Heights Community Center, and Ivy Plaza Management Corporation. She is currently an active member of her local NAACP chapter, and ambassador with the local United Way and the American Red Cross organizations.
Gwendolyn Kirtley received her Bachelor of Arts in Art Therapy from Capital University. She is a devoted mother of two adult children, Nichole A. Kirtley, who is also a member of the sorority and Carl Marsalis Kirtley, both of whom are HBCU graduates, Howard University and Clark Atlanta University, respectively. She is engaged to Mr. Paul Redd. Her fiancé, children, and church family are treasured blessings and constant reminders of her favorite scripture, that to whom much is given, much is required.

GRAY is the Second Supreme AntiBasileus of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® . In addition, she is the President of Sigma Sigma Chapter at Clayton State University. In addition to being chapter president, she has served as the Clayton State Fraternity and Sorority Council Representative and the Fraternity and Sorority Council Secretary and Social Media Chairman. Within the Sorority, she has held several roles including Vice President, Treasurer, and Ivy Leaf Reporter. She also was a member of the 2022 Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Leadership Fellows Program. Ms. Gray was initiated in 2021 into the Sigma Sigma Chapter at Clayton State University in Morrow, GA.
Ms. Gray is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music, with Pre-Law and Spanish minors. As a Music major, Ms. Gray has been active in the university’s National Association for Music Education Chapter, serving as Secretary and Social Media Chair. She is a member of the Georgia Music Educators Association and is a writing consultant/peer-academic mentor for the University’s Department of English. Ms. Gray uses her talents outside of the University as a teaching assistant for the Jonesboro First United Methodist Music Program for Preschool and Primary youth. Upon graduation, Ms. Gray plans to attend law school.

She has served on the regional level as the Great Lakes Resource person for the Membership Intake Process and Undergraduate Activities Committee.
Professionally, Soror Dionne is a member of United States Air Force Material Command in the role as Contract Specialist. She has spent over 20 years of her career as a IT Financial Analyst for a myriad of companies such as General Motors, PNC Financial Services, Speedway Corporation and Metropolitan Life Insurance company managing budgets from $3M to $70 Million as well as Capital Projects between $3 Million to $10 Million.
She is a life member of the National Council of Negro Women and National Black MBA Association. She has served on the Advisory Board for the Dayton Alzheimer's Association and an active member of the Morehead State University Black Alumni Association where she is one of the organizers of the Jerry Gore Scholarship committee raising over $100.00 in the past 2 years. She currently serves on the Finance team for the Mt. Carmel Missionary Baptist Church.
Soror Dionne has a B.B.A. in Finance from Morehead State University and MBA from the University of Dayton/ University of Phoenix and an MPA from Strayer University.

SOROR GWENDOLYN D. BUSH serves as the Dean of Instructional Technology and NCAA Eligibility Coordinator at the University of Detroit Jesuit High School & Academy, where she oversees Digital Literacy, technology training, professional development, academic assessment, and evaluation of student-athletes. Soror Gwendolyn holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems from DeVry University, a Master of Science degree in Educational Leadership from Nova Southeastern University, and professional certifications in Digital Transformation from MIT and Women in Leadership from Cornell University. Soror Gwendolyn is also an independent consultant for her own company, WayDan Consulting Services, where she provides services such as business development, training, and technology professional development to local school districts, non-profit organizations, and small businesses.
As a 15-year member of our sorority, initiated November 4, 2007, in Chi Psi Omega Chapter in Coral Springs, Florida, Soror Gwendolyn is incredibly involved in the sorority and the community. She serves as a member of the International Heritage Club; the Region’s CoChairman for the Undergraduate Activities Committee and Communications Committee Newsletter Chairman; former chairman of the Community Service Committee and former parliamentarian of the Delta Psi Omega chapter’s foundation, Pearls & Ivy. She also serves on the community advisory boards of Empire for The Youth and Len Ford Foundation. Additionally, Soror Gwendolyn is a member of the Ann Arbor Chapter of the NAACP, Urban League of Detroit & Southeastern Michigan, and the African American Cultural & Historical Museum of Washtenaw County.
Soror Gwendolyn formerly served as the Secretary of the Great Lakes Regional Conference (2019), Regional Representative on the International Communications Committee for Boule (2016 and 2018) and Leadership Seminar (2017), Regional Conference Workshop CoPresenter (Communications and Technology, 2017 and 2018), Basileus, Graduate Advisor for Beta Eta and Sigma Zeta chapters, Grammateus, Anti-Grammateus, and Technology Chairman. Highly regarded for her talents, skills, and tireless work, Soror Gwendolyn was honored as the 2018 Outstanding Graduate Advisor of the Year.
Soror Gwendolyn Bush is a dedicated mother of a legacy, Soror Danielle Lyons and son, Wayne Lyons II, a member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Incorporated® .

SOROR DANA BOYD has been a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. for almost 25 years. She was initiated in Epsilon Rho chapter at Purdue University, December 6, 1998. Soror Dana is currently a member of Iota Sigma Omega Chapter in Kalamazoo, MI. Soror Dana has held several leadership positions such as Anti-Basileus, Basileus serving two terms and is currently the Graduate Advisor to the lovely ladies of the Delta Chi Chapter of Western Michigan University.
Soror Dana is also very involved in her community. She is a Trustee and Media Projection leader at Mt. Zion Baptist Church. She is also the current president of NPHC of Kalamazoo alumni chapter. In addition, Soror Dana is a board member of Residential Opportunities, Inc (ROI). ROI is a non-profit organization that partners with children and adults with disabilities and their families so they may live more meaningful, healthy, and independent lives in their homes and communities.
Professionally, Soror Dana is a Senior Quality Specialist for Pfizer, Inc. Soror Dana has twenty years of pharmaceutical and biological industry experience in the areas of quality, engineering, validation, maintenance and manufacturing operations. Currently Soror Dana is in a team leader development role for two shifts for one of the manufacturing operations team.
Soror Dana received her Bachelor’s in Material Science Engineering from Purdue University, and her Master’s in Management and Leadership from Cornerstone University.
Soror Dana is a legacy of Soror Sandra Boyd who became an Ivy Beyond the Wall in June 2012. Her mother truly modeled scholarship, sisterhood, and service to all mankind in which Soror Dana continues her legacy.

Soror Gail Forest, a Life Member and Silver Star, is active with Beta Eta Omega Chapter in Dayton, Ohio. She was a charter member of her undergraduate chapter and has held many leadership positions within her chapters including Basileus and Anti-Basileus of her undergraduate and graduate chapter; and graduate chapter Tamiouchos and Historian. On the Regional level, she served as Great Lakes Regional Conference General Chairman, theGreat Lakes Regional Parliamentarian, and is currently the Great Lakes Regional Risk Management Chairman. On the International level, Soror Gail served as a member of the International Human Resource Committee as well as theInternational Regional Heritage Committee. She was the Great Lakes Representative to the International Standards Committee under two administrations and was the Great Lakes Representative to the International Risk Management Committee under the last administration. She has also chaired numerous committees in her chapter and conducted multiple workshops at the regional and international levels.
Professionally, Soror Gail is a retired member of the United States Senior Executive Service and was the Director of Engineering and Technical Management for the Air Force Materiel Command. In this role, she led the development and implementation of technical policies and practices and directed initiatives designed to improve the recruitment and career management of the command’s more than 14,000 military and civilian scientists and engineers.
She is a life member of the Air Force Association, Society of Women Engineers, NCNW, and NAACP. She is also a member of the Senior Executive Association and the National Association of Parliamentarians. She is currently the Chairman of the Combined Federal Campaign Dayton District Governing Board and is also a Board Member of Premier Health, the largest comprehensive health care system in Southwest Ohio.
Soror Gail has a B.S. in Engineering from Kettering University, a M.S. in Administration from Central Michigan University, and a M.S. in National Resource Strategy from National Defense University.

Soror Toni S. Kendrick was elected as the 28th Great Lakes Regional Director at the 83rd Great Lakes Regional Conference, and was honored to be re-elected at the 85th Great Lakes Regional Conference. Soror Toni has been a member of the sorority for 46 years. She is a life member and an active member of Alpha Alpha Omega Chapter in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania where she served two terms as Basileus, Graduate Advisor, and many other positions.
Soror Toni was initiated into the Alpha Sigma, the Pittsburgh City Chapter, and was a charter member of Kappa Beta Chapter at the California University of Pennsylvania. She has held a variety of leadership roles in the Great Lakes Region including Cluster Coordinator for the Great Lakes and Northern Ohio/Western Pennsylvania cluster Coordinator. She also served as the Great Lakes representative to the International Connections Committee and served as chairman of the International Graduate Advisors’ Certification Committee.
A graduate of California University of Pennsylvania, Soror Toni earned a BS in Early Childhood Education, and holds a Master’s in Education from the University of Pittsburgh. She holds a School Administer Certificate from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She spent 37 years in the Pittsburgh Public School System as a teacher, Instructional Teacher Leader, counselor, Area Lead Pupil Affairs director, conflict mediator, assistant principal, and principal. Soror Toni has received numerous awards in recognition of her community service including the Pittsburgh Courier’s 50 Women of Excellence Award, Key to the City, Negro Business and Professional Women’s Club, Inc’s Professional Woman of the Year award and Who’ s Who in Black Pittsburgh.
Soror Toni is a member of New Destiny CME Church where she serves as a member of the trustee board. She is a daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, soror and a person of deep commitment and faith.
Her favorite saying is “People my doubt what you say, but they believe what you do”.

Soror Veronica Carter retired as a Senior Policy Analyst from the Internal Revenue Service in January 2017, after working for over 40 years. During her tenure at the IRS, she served in various management and leadership positions including, Paralegal, Office Audit Manager, Regional Analyst, Project Manager and Senior Policy Analyst.
Soror Veronica is currently the Great Lakes Regional Tamiouchos in the “Greater Together” administration. She has previously served as Regional Tamiouchos and Regional Pecunious Grammateus under the leadership of the 25th, 27th, 28th and 29th Great Lakes Regional Directors. She is a Silver Star and Life Member of Alpha Sigma Omega Chapter where she has served in various leadership roles. She is a former First Anti-Basileus, Program Chairman, Tamiouchos and Member-At-Large. She currently serves as the Chairman of Achieving Standards of Excellence Foundation, which was formed by her chapter in 2002.
Soror Veronica holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management with a minor in finance and accounting from Marylhurst University. She is the proud “Nana” to three grandsons who keep her quite busy.

Soror Wilma Dixon worked 40 years in the property and casualty insurance industry. She began as an underwriter with Allstate Insurance Company in Southfield, Michigan. She later joined The Auto Club Group (AAA Michigan) at its Dearborn headquarters as a Field Underwriter for the southwest Michigan company branch offices. She attained positions as Branch Underwriter I and II at branch offices in metropolitan Detroit. She moved to Product Development, Member Relations and later Insurance Regulatory Compliance Resolution departments. She retired in 2014 after being employed 35 years with the company.
Soror Wilma is a member of Fellowship Chapel in Detroit where she has served as a member of the Official Board. She is currently a member of the Steward Board and Dawn Ensemble. She is the recipient of the Women’s Christian Fellowship Distinguished Service Award. She is a life member of the University of Michigan Alumni Association. She has served as chairman of the Alumni Reunion Activities Council and the Reunion of Black Graduates. She is the recipient of the association's Distinguished Alumni Service Award.
Initiated in 1984 into Alpha Κappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Lambda Pi Omega Chapter, Detroit, Michigan. She is a Silver Star and Life Member. She has served as Lambda Pi Omega Chapter Basileus and continues to serve on several chapter committees. She is a past president of the Lambda Pi Omega Foundation of Detroit/Pearls of Promise Foundation. She has served on the boards of Amethyst Health, Inc. and the Reggie McKenzie Foundation.
On the regional level, she has served as advisor to the regional director, Graduate Advisor training assistant, Philacter, and is currently serving within the second administration as the Great Lakes Regional Pecunious Grammateus.
Soror Wilma received a B.A in Political Science from the University of Michigan. She also received a Certificate in General Insurance from the Insurance Institute of America. She is married, the mother of one son and the

Soror Rachel Ashburn Mallory was initiated into Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated, Theta Chapter, at The Ohio State University, on June 3, 1972. She is a Golden Soror and Life Member with 50 uninterrupted years of active membership. She is a current member of Alpha Sigma Omega Chapter located in Columbus, Ohio, where she served as Graduate Advisor, Anti-Basileus, Basileus and Parliamentarian.
Soror Mallory has received numerous community, professional and sorority awards, and served in several elected and voluntary positions with her professional organizations on the local, state, and national levels. She is the 24th Great Lakes Regional Director and a former Supreme Parliamentarian. She has served as Chairman of the International Constitution Committee, first Chairman of the International Risk Management Task Force, a member of the International Archives Committee and a member of the Editorial Advisory Committee for the 8th Edition of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated History Book “Priceless Pearls: Dimensions of Sisterhood and Service in Alpha Kappa Alpha” .
The Rachel Ashburn Mallory Undergraduate Leadership Development Scholarship was endowed during her tenure as Great Lakes Regional Director, and has been administered by the Alpha Kappa Alpha Educational Advancement Foundation since 2002. Professionally, Soror Mallory is a licensed occupational therapist and currently serves as the Director of Therapy for the Heinzerling Community, in Columbus, Ohio.

is the Secretary of the Outstanding Omega Chapter in Cleveland, Ohio. During her time on Notre Dame’s Campus, she currently serves as the President of the Black Student Union, and a mentor and leader at the First Generational Center. What led her to Ohio from New Jersey was her love for lacrosse, in which she played the past 12 years earning her first ever Conference Championship title in 2021. Selena’s main goal is to bring the NDC campus together as one and give equal opportunities to all.
Within the sorority, she has held the position of Secretary and her current position as The Undergraduate Great Lakes Region Cluster Coordinator. She has also become the first recipient of the Marian B Wallace scholarship, which was awarded to the Soror who served her chapter, her community, and her university with excellence.
Outside of sorority and college life, she works as a home health aide bringing bedside care to the ill, elderly, and disabled. Her love for helping her community continues to build new connections and relationships with people she meets.
In her free time, she loves cooking, traveling, and practicing self-care.
