our imagination this season. Whether your hair is chin-length, waist-length
or in-between, there’s nothing quite so simple or effective than some loose
easy, waves. Forget Hollywood curls, think more randomly placed, tousled
locks and care-free mermaid tresses.
Hair Accessories This season is all about delicate embellishments that evoke the elegance of eras past: Add a scattering of tiny flower blossoms to a messy up-do for an enchanting fairytale look. If timeless elegance is what you are after, then complete your low regal ponytail with a leather-embellished headband.
GET THE LOOK IN JUST A FEW MINUTES Part your hair down the middle and split into two sections; Holding one section in your hands, divide this into another two sections; Take a small piece of hair from the outside of one section and pull it over the top to bring it to the inside of the opposite section;
Sprinkle gold leaf flecks into a soft, messy do to achieve the vintage look with a decadent touch.
Then take a similar sized piece from the outside of the other section and pull it over to the inside of the first section and pull tight;
Just to note, fishtail braids look best with a slept-in look, so tease the braid by pulling out some strands for a more textured look.
Repeat this process until you reach the end and tie with an elastic band; and, Voilà! There you have it, an easy-peasy textured style that screams casual chic!
