With Worcester’s Big Parade here this summer, Worcester is the ideal hotspot to enjoy a well deserved break to relax and explore. You can now book in to visit multiple venues in Worcester, like the historic Worcester Cathedral! Having stood the test of time, with the civil war and so much more, there is always something new to discover. You have probably walked past The Commandery on Sidbury countless times, but when was the last time you actually went in? The Museum of Royal Worcester is located on Severn Street! The ceramics museum is in the porcelain factory’s former site and holds the world’s largest collection

of Worcester Porcelain from Georgian, Victorian and 20th Century periods. Across a delightful courtyard, you’ll find

Royal Porcelain Works!

Originally founded by Robert Chamberlain, it has been redeveloped by the Bransford Trust, to create a new centre for the arts in Worcester which incorporates the ‘Henry Sandon Hall’. The original Victorian showroom has been transformed into a venue hosting a mix of events, markets and exhibitions.

Housed in an elegant Victorian building on Foregate Street, lose yourself in the

Worcester City Art Gallery and Museum’s exhibitions and displays showcasing Worcester’s history.

It’s also hosting the Titanic exhibition until 11th September which is not to be missed! There’s also a huge range on display in Tudor House, easily the most recognisable building on the stunning Friar Street! This 16th Century building is filled to the brim with history as it holds unique features and fascinating stories.

You’ll be amazed to learn how pivotal Worcester has been throughout history. If you’re struggling on where to start, you can always head into the Tourist Information Centre!
