PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS RUNWAY 4-22 PAVEMENT REHABILITATION PETER O KNIGHT AIRPORT

This project consisted of the in-place reconstruction of Runway and 4-22 and parallel Taxiway A at Peter O Knight Airport on Davis Island in Tampa. Other work consisted of the placement of airfield drainage and the reconstruction of multiple small taxiways and hangar areas. Approximately 90,000 SY of fulldepth reclamation were constructed with 15,000 tons of P-401 asphalt. The project was phased

to minimize impacts to the Airfield. Airfield electrical signage and airfield markings we also key elements of the Project. PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS: • $4.6 mil. project for Hillsborough County Aviation Authority • 90,000 SY of Full Depth Reclamation • 15,000 tons of asphalt

SR 699 GULF BOULEVARD

Traffic control was a major element of the SR 699 project on Treasure Island, a popular student winter vacation destination. Ajax Paving successfully managed the heavy traffic as it milled and resurfaced, with slope corrections, Gulf Boulevard from 105th to 125th Avenue. Requirements also included new curbs, sidewalks, and signals.
