August was the month of overcoming challenges and perseverance. We learned how to make the drinks and run the café. Crystal Café in a few days. We had the Faerie Barter Market, which was fun! We hosted our first Little Picassos event, which was a cute success. We had some big shifts this month, and came out on top. We started increasing our networking through social media. September is the month to continue network our asses off month. We are still in the thick of our pop-up season. We’re manifesting big money events, increased instore sells, and foot traffic.
Review of Aug’s performance, photos, news, events, and more. Keep Reading! In this newsletter you will find:
Diversity & Inclusion
This month we host a Faerie Barter market. It was so much fun, we had the most diverse crowd ever. It was smaller than usual. but still so much fun. Maybe host our own, more inclusive version
Our #1 Fan Nittu
The gratitude for this human is immense. Its beautiful to watch our space be a safe haven and beloved someone in our target audience. They have participated in every Books & Brews and come to paint and handout This is a powerful thing, because its just the beginning.

EXCITIING NEWS!
After a FB post about barter and trading services, we stumbled up a gem. We have a new collaboration with Mozzarella Madam. We are excited for the birth of all that is to come. She is a great staff member and has creative ideas that add value to our store. We are going to host cheese pulling events. How exciting!
AIZEN’S
SOCIAL Trends
August, we slacked off on our social media presence. We posted inconsistently. Our reach is down significantly on both IG & FB. We did gain 45 followers on FB. We are close to our 1000k followers goal on both platforms. That goal is projected to be met in Sept.
In the month of August we sold our 100th latte & we lost our F&B director roughly in the same week
The cafe was closed for five days, due to illness, but we were able to recover The cafe’s regulars returned and the bounce back was better than ever We started experimenting with new flavors
Our menu has expanded to include our fall drinks
We found a cute drip coffee blend at the store that the CEO wanted to try We are serving a s ’ mores flavored drip coffee this fall season, while supplies last This was the first month with a snack bar The snack bar has been making solid waves and consistent sells We are discussing the expansion of that in the upcoming months.
#GiveThePoepleSnacks movement
Our café team has expanded We have two new members of the team working as Baristas We are blessed to have help that’s passionate about our space and what we are creating The CFO/COO has taken over training the volunteers and F&B director responsibilities This transition of responsibilities has resulted in new protocol and procedures and refined recipes We still need to create a watering schedule for the plants in the shop
In the month of September, we will be featuring the Carmel Apple latte This month we are focusing on having mocktails available for events
Moving forward we are aiming to incorporate a regularly rotating mocktail on the menu.
Second month of Q3 Forth month in a row AiZen has paid its own rent. We are doing it all the things we set out to do. We have the café up and running. We have learned how to use the machines this month, LOL. This month we hit a rough patch, lost some money, and workers, but we didn’t miss a beat That stumble was a push in the right directions. We are making valuable connections through networking. Foot traffic was thrown off with us being closed for a week, but it picked back up. Aug we got it out the mud. Vendor events were decent enough to pay rent, we sat out Art Garden with no big loss. We learned no one cares for your stuff like you do. This was the month we poured into the café logistic. We crafted custom Loc jewelry that looked amazing, come rose quartz.
We got the ice machines working AGAIN ✔
Hot water heater installed & working with both sinks✔
Increase store foot traffic! Goal ✔

Team AiZen Updates
Our team underwent several unexpected transitions. We lost two team members, Sutton and Kiarra around the same time as Sarah became extremely sick. Resulting in the Crystal Cafe being closed for 5 days We were able to bounce back with some barter and trading of services. Jasmine & Kamille were right now time humans These connections are set up on a barter and trade system, which is beneficial to all parties. These connections expand our social network and reach.
Website Report Aug 2024
SITE TRAFFIC HAS IMPROVED!
August we updated the website more frequently and added ticketed events to be purchased. Our Unique page visits is up compared to June, but not yet at our goal of 500+ unique views monthly How can we reach that?
Our e-commerce sales are up from tickets being available, which raised our conversion rate to roughly .2% That’s the highest its been in months. Our viewers are taking time to click around to view roughly 4.5 pages per unique view. Lets make sure our pages are interesting and informational. We need to update our consignment page and venue page.
We need assistance with updating and working on the website.
