Technology that enables support and care in your home.
HCS24 operate a 24/7 support centre for technology enabled care.
The system utilises Access Assure technology and their Home Hub device.
It will help us understand your needs so we can provide support that is right for you.
It helps make sure you can live as independently as possible.
The Home Hub links sensors, detectors and panic buttons around your home.
They are small and unobtrusive.
They send information based on your activity to your care circle.
They do not send video, pictures or sound.
Your care circle can also include family and friends who can access information that helps them know you are safe and well.
It also lets them know if anything has happened. Such as if you have had a fall.
All of us worry about having an accident but don’t want round-the-clock care.
This can also worry other people who are close to us.
The system can see when things aren’t going well or if anything is changing.
Your care circle can see this and react quickly.
Helping you to feel confident and enjoy your daily activities as usual.
You will also see sensors located around your home.
You may be given a pendant to wear on your wrist or around your neck.
You don’t have to change anything.
You can just carry on with your normal activity in your home.
If you need assistance or there is an emergency press the pendant, or the Hub screen, to call for help.
Your alarm will contact HCS24 and help will be sent.
The Installer will tell you more about this when the system is set up.
The Home Hub will be installed in your home soon.
Your family will be able to have an app on their phone if its right for you
This means the information from the sensors may be shared with them as well.
Your care circle and the Installer will answer any questions you may have.
The system has two key roles:
• It lets us know you are doing well and if anything changes.
