For over 200 years, our Mission has been to make the future noble by forming the hearts and minds of young people in a challenging and innovative academic environment that reflects the aims and ideals of the Sacred Heart.
Our Vision
In 2006, Berchmans Academy was established to further our Mission to foster the academic, spiritual, and social growth of both young women and men.
This Courage and Confidence capital campaign will allow us to fulfill the promise that we made to our sons and daughers to ensure a premier, Catholic, singlegender education in the spirit of Sacred Heart education and charism.
This campaign will ignite a future for our schools that reflects our sense of urgency that now, indeed, is the pivotal moment for both of our beloved schools.
Courage and Confidence
Since 1821, a Sacred Heart education means students receive the gift of a high-quality education immersed in the values that will guide them for the rest of their lives.
We are excited to step into the future with both of our schools and it is with reflection, prayer, and Courage and Confidence that we embark on the journey to preserve a piece of our history and propel the Academy of the Sacred Heart and Berchmans Academy into the future.

Campaign Prayer
Oh, Good and Gracious God,
We entrust to you our Academy of the Sacred Heart and Berchmans Academy of the Sacred Heart Capital Campaign, Courage and Confidence, words you whispered to St. Madeleine Sophie, which became her battle cry.
As we march forward to secure the fertile life of our beloved Grand Coteau, help us to be true to the mission of our schools. Make us ever courageous, strong hearted, yet tender hearted in the charity of the Sacred Heart.
Let us petition with confidence and trusting faith that the pierced Sacred Heart will shower His grace on our efforts to sustain our schools and our desire to form His students into Children of the Sacred Heart, open to mystery, in order that they may have exceptional lives on Earth and Eternal Life in Heaven.
