Eighth grade is a milestone year for your son as he begins to shift from middle to high school. He is growing, physically, emotionally, and intellectually. He has a big appetite for life, wanting to try new things, explore new boundaries, and test the limits.

He still needs guard rails and guidance, but you are beginning to get a glimpse into the interesting and curious young man that he is becoming.

At Berchmans Academy, we recognize the importance of this very special time in your son’s life, and we want to help him on his path to his future. High school is just around the corner, and that’s why we have started this NEW initiative for incoming 8th Grade students to give them an opportunity to try on a Berchmans education and experience for size before committing to their high school home for the next four years.

We are offering to meet you where you are with your current tuition payments for this important 8th grade year because we know that once he comes, Berchmans will be a part of his life forever.

We are offering this 1-year reduced tuition incentive to allow 8th grade students to experience first-hand the opportunities and expectations that await their high school years at Berchmans. We feel confident that once they come to the Berchmans, they will fall in love with the brotherhood, traditions, and commitment to education that they will find here.

Why does the incentive target the upcoming 8th grade classes specifically?

Eighth grade is an important transition year for boys, and we want to provide the opportunity for them to have the full high school experience at Berchmans, beginning in 8th Grade.

How will each incoming student’s 8th grade tuition be determined?

Each student’s tuition will be determined by the full tuition stated at their current school.

Is the incentive a one-time offering?

Yes, this is a one-time offering for the Class of 2029 entering the 2024-25 school year.

How do we plan for tuition after this 8th grade year?

Sacred Heart offers a personalized tuition assistance program, called Financial Individualized Tuition (FIT) that matches a family’s financial position with a unique tuition amount that meets their needs. We encourage all families to begin this discussion with the Admissions office.
