CÔTE D’IVOIRE Côte d’Ivoire is located in West Africa, covering an area of 322.462km2. The population was estimated around 23 million with 77% made of people aged less than 35 and more than 60 ethnic groups. The official language is French: Abidjan is the economic capital and the largest city in the country. It also serves as the cultural hub of West Africa. Cote d’ivoire is really beautiful with its many amazing touristic places. The country borders with Burkina Faso and Mali to the north, Liberia and Guinea to the west, Ghana to the east and the Atlantic Ocean at the south. 24.2% of its population are migrants from sub region of Africa. This intermixture of nationalities promotes a peaceful country. You will understand throughout this document why Cote d’ivoire should be the place to be to live such an amazing experience.

AIESEC FUPA is one of the top 3 committees of AIESEC in Cote D’ivoire. With only 7 years of existence, we are always committed to deliver a wonderfull experience to all incoming and outgoing students. AIESEC FUPA NPS was 99v the previous term. The local committee is located in COCODY II PLATEAUX AGHIEN, one of the most beautiful area of Abidjan. Our local committee counts 40 members.

EDU KIDS DESCRIPTION EDU KIDS is a social and humanitarian program which intervenes in the educational domain. This project has for objective to contribute to the dynamics of insertion and instruction of the children in difficult situation. In a concrete way, it will be question of giving training to children presenting educational needs of public-spiritedness, English, computing and to cheer them up through entertaining games. The EDU kid project satisfies the objective of sustainable development goal 4 "Quality education" and more exactly the sub-objective 5 "Before 2030 ‌".

aims at fighting against the degradation of lands and climatic hazards. It will consist of refurnishing the vegetation of Cote d’ivoire in order to fight against meningitis and malaria significantly.

KKENEYA is a project to raise awareness of descriptions of AIDS and tuberculosis, aimed at promoting the attitudes to adopt to avoid and prevent these different diseases that could harm our society.

W么r么 w么r么 Woro can be found everywhere: they have different colors depending on the municipality you are in. These vehicles travel to all destination. It costs around 100 CFA for short distance and 500 CFA around 25km.
Bus Buses is costing 200 FCFA wherever you go and EXPRESS BUSES at 500 CFA.
SOME TRANSPORTATION
There are several means of transport in Abidjan. The cost is normal, depending on the distance and the type of vehicle used.
Wi-Bus Buses is costing 300 FCFA wherever you go in the municipality of Cocody. There are WIFI and climatisation inside
Gbaka Gbaka can be found everywhere. These vehicles travel to all destination. It costs around 100 CFA for short distance and 600 CFA around 25km.

ACCOMODATION In AIESEC FUPA our EPs live in host families. AIESEC members or our friends host our EPs during the time they will spend here. Host families are our exchange partner and we trust them. All of our EPs are satisfied after their stay here. They will get the chance to integrate host family member and will live like ivorians. AIESESC remain available for any problems you will met with host families. ADMINISTRATION FEES: 100$
