Senior Center
All in-person programs will be held at the Senior Center, 1801 W. Central Road. Many of our in-person programs at the Senior Center will also offer the option to attend via Zoom. The Senior Center Reading Room is open Monday through Friday, 9 a.m.–4:30 p.m. and Saturday, 8:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m.

May’s film is Howards End (1992), 140 minutes, rated PG, starring Emma Thompson and Anthony Hopkins in a romantic drama that explores class relations in turn-of-the20th-century Britain. A discussion led by staff follows a free showing of the film.
National Senior Health & Fitness Day

Participate in this morning of free activities and seminars and join featured speaker Marc Blesoff, founder of CourAGEus, to learn the principles of conscious aging.

9 a.m.–noon: NorthShore’s Simbulance
9–10:45 a.m.: Fitness demos and mini-meditation sessions
11 a.m.: Marc Blesoff, Conscious Aging
