District 25 Spring Art Show

May 2–May 25 / First floor

Join the library and Arlington Heights School District 25 as we celebrate the arts in education this May. View student artwork from all nine District 25 elementary and middle schools on display on the first floor of the library. Art pieces range from illustrations and mixed media to selfportraits and 3D art.

Spring Art Show Receptions The library welcomes students, family and educators for special receptions celebrating the art of District 25 students.

Designed for children with disabilities and their families, and any child that could benefit from a more controlled environment. Supports like lap weights and fidget toys are available.

Homeschool Hangout

Thursday, May 12, 1–3 p.m. / Hub

Visit for hands-on activities and the chance to meet other homeschoolers. For all ages.

Parents’ Turn: Healthy Self-Care Habits for the Whole Family

Sunday, May 15, 2–3 p.m. / Zoom

Family events and activities, school projects, a heavy workload, and a lack of quality sleep, exercise or nutrition plan, can all leave your whole family feeling unproductive, frazzled and out of sync. Join Sunny Amirpour of PositivelySTRONG. com for a virtual presentation to learn how you can create a realistic self-care plan for healthy habits and increased productivity. Digital copies of a meal planner, exercise planner and daily planner will be emailed out to program participants.
