The Chirico family was involved in the production of wooden baskets for the citrus industry, serving farmers as their primary clients.
Agrumaria Reggina was founded, focusing on processing oranges and lemons. The company was established in Southern Italy, in Reggio Calabria, a region naturally suited for citrus cultivation (a tradition that continues to this day).
Start of the production of compounds and bases for the beverage industry.
The first representative office outside Italy was opened in Algeria, which is still operational today.
Entry into the Flavour & Fragrance Industry, serving major F&F producers, with the establishment of the first R&D center dedicated to Essential Oils.
