ACTION PLAN The manager Pre-empt: Instigate changes to working culture and practice that will be helpful should dementia become a live workplace issue, for example improving internal communications.
Develop: Look at how products and services could
be made more accessible to people living with dementia. Areas to look at include premises, pricing, publications and staff training.
Respond: If a regular customer or client shows signs
of dementia ensure as far as possible that they are served by the same member of staff each time.
