In the last two decades, the Portuguese short film production panorama has achieved extraordinary visibility, thanks to the proliferation of film festivals and alternative exhibition circuits. It has strengthened itself, changing the paradigm towards a new creative and professional perspective.
Never before have so many short films achieved such outstanding quality and diversity.
Agência is at the center of this new paradigm. The large number of awards, selections, and the considerable recognition that some Portuguese auteurs have received at international level are the result of this work.
Agência is a proactive agent in the presence of Portuguese short films on the international scene, and through its film archive, it shows the complexity and diversity of aesthetic approaches of a new generation of Portuguese directors. This catalog brings together the most recent films in circulation and those that will be released in the coming months.
