Happy times at the Hillstreet
Page 4&5: Members’ Stories
At the beginning of the year we hosted lots of fun activities at the Hillstreet Centre’s Creative Factory. Throughout January more than 1,500 people enjoyed flower craft sessions, a 1940’s day, fun quizzes, Memories of Middlesbrough, digital workshops, chair-based exercises, live entertainment, games and much, much more. We even had a visit from BBC Look North. As a result of its success we have been given the unit back for the month of April, and our Project Officer Linda couldn’t be prouder.

She said: “Having this central hub has given people the opportunity to be involved in activities they wouldn’t normally get the chance to. “Pop in and see us during April. We will have plenty of tea, coffee and activities for you to enjoy.” For more photos, see our gallery on page 3.
