This simple method of age verification allows you to upload your current customer details in CSV format via our secure client portal. You will receive a list of results that will display whether or not each customer has passed the age verification process.

This seamless online age verification solution runs in the background as the customer enters their details at registration/withdrawal. This offers a smooth user experience, as the customer doesn’t need to input any further information.

This acts as a secondary check by providing a pop-up box if the customer fails the initial check. The Gateway allows the customer to select an alternative method of verification. It only takes seconds to get the results before returning the customer to the registration flow.

CASE STUDY

A rigorous onboarding process for iGaming in Germany One of iGaming’s leading solutions providers chose to use our German verification and authentication solution to protect players and ensure they are over 18 on registration. Our authentication checks also ensure that individuals are who they say they are, and that they are not able to register multiple bank accounts, which would be a contravention of the new regulations. Anything suspicious is automatically flagged to the client.

In March 2020, the German heads of state approved a legal framework governing online gambling, the new Interstate Treaty for Gambling or Glücksspielneuregulierungstaatsvertrag (GlüNeuRStV). This treaty comes into force on 1 July 2021, with conditions including strict age verification laws to prevent minors from being able to gamble online. iGaming companies operating in Germany must be able to prove that they use a rigorous age verification solution in order to get a licence, so age verification in Germany forms a key part of the onboarding process. But that verification shouldn’t affect player experience.

Player verification and authentication has been a particular priority for the Dutch gambling regulator Kansspelautoriteit (KSA). All online gambling operators targeting the Dutch market now need to include full identity verification, bank authentication and checks against the player exclusion register (CRUKS).

iDIN has been developed through a partnership with Betaalvereniging Nederland (the Dutch Payments Association) and the Dutch government. With more than 97% of Dutch customers using online banking, we can achieve a match rate in excess of 90%, maximising the income of your business.
