Agape Class of 2025 high school seniors celebrated their post-secondary ‘Decision Day’ with family, friends, students, and staff.
May was a month of endings and exciting new beginnings. As we close out the 2024-2025 after-school program, we proudly celebrate our 11 North Atlanta High School graduates with a variety of post-secondary plans! One of our students has enlisted in the Marines while others are heading to college and technical school to pursue careers in medicine, engineering, business, and more.

We are happy to announce the graduation of our Navigate student, Stephanie! She earned her B.A. in Economics from Georgia State University and immediately began an internship with a prestigious local financial firm. She plans to use her degree to pay-it-forward by educating her community on financial literacy. Stephanie has been with Agape for over 14 years and is currently a member of our program Navigate that supports students through their post-secondary pathways. She credits the support of Agape for helping her finish her degree. To become a Navigate mentor, please visit: hpaige@agapeatlanta.org.
Congratulations to our student award-winners of the Honeywell Hawks program with State Farm Arena! They participated in the six-week STEM-based contest, Arena of the Future Innovation Challenge, to provide the arena with innovative ideas for sustainable energy. After presenting their innovative ideas to judges, Honeywell awarded $10k to students along with branded personalized Hawks jerseys. Thank you, for supporting our students!

Congresswoman Lucy McBath and her team recently toured our facility to learn more about our programs and achievements. She took time to meet with staff and immediately jumped in for a game of basketball with our students! We appreciate her passion for supporting our mission, to help end generational poverty, one child at a time.
Our RAGTime Seniors are staying active and classy while doing it! They have been taking an aerobics class hosted by Carl E. Sanders YMCA instructors with fun and energetic music. Our seniors continue to gather for fun games of BINGO and recently added a twist with their own fashion show! Ms. Jefferson brightened up the event by setting the tone with this season’s “it” color, butter yellow! Agape serves senior citizens in the RAGTIME daytime program by keeping them engaged in community, lunches, arts and crafts, field trips, and more. We invite you to help support this program and become a sponsor by visiting, agapeatlanta.org.
