The Dallas community and Social Media Are Outraged by the death of Botham Jean.

By Arielle Johnson By now, if you are reading this article, you have either read or heard several versions of how, 26-year old, Botham Jean met his untimely demise, at the hands of off-duty Officer Amber Guyger, in his OWN home. And as difficult as it may seem,

to this day, there are still a few people out there, who do not know who Botham Jean was, or what happened to him the night of Thursday, September 6, 2018. Botham Jean, a native of St. Lucia, moved to Texas after graduating from Harding

University in 2016. He was employed in Dallas, by PriceWaterhouse Coopers as a Risk Assurance Associate and was an active member of the Dallas West Church of Christ. On Thursday night, at approximately 10 p.m., a 30-year

old, White female officer by the name of Amber Guyger, entered Botham’s apartment and delivered two shots to his body, one to the stomach and one to the chest. He was later pronounced dead at a local hospital. Continue reading story on Page 4
