anette L. Cosley, a native Houstonian, has a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Keuka College in New York. Upon her return to Houston in 1979 she pursued her journalism career as News Anchor at KAUM Radio. In 1980, she moved on to KPRC Radio where she spent ten years reporting, writing and editing talk radio news. To broaden her media experience at KPRC Radio, she accepted the opportunity as an Account Executive in the Sales Department, developing new advertising accounts for News/Talk Radio. Moving on from journalism, she entered the not for profit sector, accepting a position with the United Negro College Fund, Inc. as the Assistant Area Development Director. In addition, she coordinated the efforts for UNCF in both Houston and San Antonio throughout the year.
