THE CLINTON BOOGIE?:

I must tell you that the political playbook that White politicians use to secure the African-American vote never changes. And why should it? It works. At this present moment, I am unsure if I am more upset that a political figure such as Hillary Clinton has so easily captured the Black vote without offering anything of substance or at the fact that ‘so-called Negro leaders’ are once again behaving as if their constituents are not only the deciding factor in the Democratic primary, but also hold significant influence, if not the final word, in regards to who will be President Barack Hussein Obama’s replacement in the Oval Office. If ‘so-called Negro leaders’ had either a modicum of courage or a rudimentary understanding of politics, they would have already called all suitors, regardless of their political leanings, to the table and boldly stated that the African-American vote decided the 2008 & 2012 Presidential elections and offered to deliver the Oval Office to the ‘right candidate’; however, to receive such favor from AfricanAmericans, you must offer concrete policy and tangible benefits. If ‘Negro leaders’ were a bit more politically astute they would realize that it is moments such as this that provides ‘minority’ groups the opportunity to lay the groundwork to subdue multi-generational poverty, inferior schools, unemployment, underemployment, disparate prison sentencing, etc. If Negro leaders were serious about aiding the Black community, they would realize that this is the time to issue significant demands. Yet, in the face of such opportunity, they remain silent and consciously choose to do little of nothing. CONTINUE READING ON PAGE 5
