WHO WILL HOLD THE KEY TO THE CITY?
HOUSTON - This election season has been interesting, and the run-off candidates are in place. “Who will be the next Mayor that will hold the key to the city” is now the question that many Houstonians want to know. What would you like to know from these candidates? This forum will be a voter’s guide to put those in office that can make a change for us. It is not over and we encourage everyone to get out and vote Saturday, December 12, 2015. You must remember that “your money & your vote are the most powerful things that you have; be careful who you give them to.” African-American News&Issues will join in on the panel of a public forum in cooperation with FOX 26 Houston News and other media outlets to be hosted by State Representative Sefronia Thompson and Co-Hosted by Roy Douglas Malonson. The event will be held at Forest Brook Middle School located at 7525 Tidwell Road in Houston, Texas 77016 Tuesday, November 17, 2015 from 6:30pm to 9:00pm. The forum will be open to the public and live streamed for viewers who will not only be able to watch the forum,
but participate through social media. This will ensure that a maximum number of voters will be reached and have an opportunity to be a part of this forum. Again, we ask you, the community, the people of the paper, What would you like to know? As a voice for you, the loyal readers of African-American News&Issues, we will represent you!
