Training Initiative of the Year WINNER: Facial Anatomy Teaching (Medicos-Rx)

This category saw an exceptional standard of entries, but it was Facial Anatomy Training that impressed the judges to claim the title. Facial Anatomy Teaching is an independent, anatomically focused treatment programme for General Medical Council, Nursing and Midwifery Council, and General Dental Council registered professionals undertaking non-surgical treatments, and proved to be a worthy winner of the award. Led by consultant plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgeon Mr Dalvi Humzah, and assisted by cosmetic and dermatology nurse practitioner and prescriber Anna Baker, the course is accredited by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow. The award was announced by Aesthetics journal editor Amanda Cameron and Mr Humzah was overjoyed to win for a second year running, “We were extremely delighted to win the Training Initiative of the Year award for the second time! It has reassured us that we are providing the right level and type of teaching and training to practitioners, that will enable them to achieve the best possible result for their profession.”
