Each year during the summer break, the coaches and I come up with a new slogan that defines how our team will reach our 3 goals every year: 1. win district, 2. play in December, and 3. win a state championship. For the first time, we’ve decided to run back our 2024 mantra – EYES (Earn Your Eagle Sunrise) - because I believe there is no better way than EYES to describe the Argyle football culture and our #1 guiding principle for success.
• EARN — Nothing of lasting value is given freely. While we’re proud of our past success, it doesn’t ensure our future success at all. Whether in football, school, or life, we know our greatest rewards come from consistent and relentless hard work and perseverance. We are comfortable being uncomfortable because It’s the struggle that makes success meaningful.
• YOUR — Every player, coach, parent, and supporter has ownership in this journey. The culture of Argyle Football is built by all of us, together.
• EAGLE — To be an Eagle means more than wearing a uniform. It means carrying yourself with pride, humility, and the determination to live up to the standard of excellence we’ve built over the past 23 years.
