The protagonists of the third episode are Brian Williams and Steve Cudd – a couple of friends, the first is 77 years old and South African, the second is English and almost 70 years old. They both live in Ginevra where they have worked for almost 20 years. They have already run some marathons together, but for both of them it will be the first time in Rome. The run to finish the marathon before 6 hours and qualify for Comrades Ultra Marathon, race that takes place in South Africa, the country where Brian had to run away from during apartheid as he was a State enemy.
