Do you know about adrenal fatigue? Many people believe that fatigue is normal, so they use coffee or other stimulants so they don’t feel tired and keep their usual routine in this way. Those who suffer from adrenal fatigue tend to have pictures of anxiety, depression, difficulty concentrating or loss of motivation.

According to several authors and health professionals, the term adrenal fatigue-also called adrenocortical insufficiency or Hippo adrenal-is used to describe uncontrolled stress that ends in extreme fatigue and disabling disease. These studies state that the adrenal glands are depleted and unable to produce sufficient amounts of hormones, mainly cortisol. One of the reasons why this type of fatigue goes unnoticed is because the blood tests that are currently performed do not detect a decrease in cortisol associated with the symptoms. The human body is sensitive enough to notice the changes that occur, but there is no evidence or diagnosis that treats this disorder. As an athlete, it is important to know what the adrenal glands are and what function they perform. Resistance, energy, enthusiasm, and the ability to cope with stress depend on the proper functioning of the adrenal glands. They are located in the upper part of the kidneys and are the size of a grape. These small glands affect the functioning of the tissues, the way of thinking, feeling, etc.
