A single-point of entry, where you get access to all modules, menus, fields, reports and other tools in Adonis Personnel Manager according to the security access level given by your Adonis Administrator.

APM is easy to use, intuitive with a graphical user interface, which is recognizable throughout the various modules. The system comes with many useful features such as: A modern ribbon menu system, with Office look and feel . It is very easy to navigate through the application modules. The items in the menus are also represented by icons and keyboard short-cuts.

• A user-definable Quick Access toolbar where the user can add any of the icons from the modules, data groups and tools.

• APM has client-based approach to the database. Clients can be companies, departments, vessels, agents, and crew pools. The name of the current client and the payroll period is displayed at the top of the screen.

• The menu system will be automatically compressed to contain only items with write or read access for the user, for example certain clients and certain modules.

User-friendly customization • Choice of background wallpaper is a user option.

• Right Mouse click or property menus are used throughout the application. These menus will contain only relevant items.

• Alternatively the Crew List Views can be presented in horizontal tabs.

• Navigation buttons will appear if there is not enough space to show all the tabs in one screen.

Crew List handling • The Status Bar at the bottom will indicate number of persons, how many are tagged in the list, name and status of the selected person • Switch easily between employed and terminated crew selection of any client.

• Crew selection list can contain a large number of views; each defined and grouped by the user.

• Built-in show-hide button for the Crew List views.

• Red vertical line indicates where scrollable section begins • Your Adonis administrator can use query builder and SQL queries to define complex crew list views.

Configuration of Views • Each user can select which columns they want to display or not in each view.

• Filter box available in all header cells.

• Sort by clicking on header cell.

• Drag headers cells to change order of the columns.

• Drag header cells to best columns width or use Best fit function.

• Grouping box available.

• Save customized layout of a predefined view.

• A built-in color-coded warning system for any date field can be used e.g. for expiry check.

Grouping and Sorting • • • • •

Unlock crew list information.

View data from different angles.

Compacting the Crew List.

Reduce the need for reports.

Use «drag and drop» to play with the sequence of the grouping elements (cells/columns).

• Name and save any grouping for easy retrieval later, by user.

• Group the crew list by dragging the column containing the information you want to group by into the Group By Box. • Grouping icons will appear in the menu • Right mouse click in the group by column to see properties.

Use Date Time Grouping • Use the Group By buttons to collapse the crew list by the group by field

Advanced Crew List Properties • Possibility to sort crew list by selected column • Add columns to Group By box, alternative to drag and drop • Remove (hide) column from Crew List, possibility to select columns • Best Fit current column • Best Fit all columns to optimize column width within the whole view • Possible to Collapse / Expand • Reset Grid layout to default settings

Crew List: Tabbed View VS Tiled Workspace • Tabbed View option will display a tab for each data group or module you have opened. It is very easy to navigate back and forth and get a complete overview.

• You can have as many tabs as needed open at one time • Information on the tabs are instantly changed when you switch to next person on the crew list tab.

• By turning off the Tabbed View, the data will be organized in several windows, called workspace.

• The windows on a workspace can be easily tiled.

• You will get full overview in one screen.

• Information in the data groups windows are instantly changed when you switch to next person in the crew list window.

• Each user may save up to three different work-spaces.

• A large high-resolution screen is recommended for Tiled View.

• Switching back and forth between tiled and tabbed is done with a key-stroke

Find Person or Find Employed / Terminated personnel • Quick search by typing name or PIN to locate person • Use Find-icon or Ctrl+F to open the Search window • You can search by any column in current view

• Available icons will instantly switch between the main sources

Queries • Use the Saved Queries icon to open the Adonis Query.

• This will allow you to create specific queries, using selected tables and fields from the database.

• Use Negative Search.

Selections • Static & Dynamic selections are different user-definable lists containing persons from the crew database.

• Define selections for yourself and/or your colleagues.

• Queries can be made dynamic, meaning that any change to the crew base will be reflected when the query is run.

• Adonis Analytical Module available for more complex SQLbased queries. See separate Information sheet on that module

DISPLAY PHOTOS IN CREW LIST

• Miniature photos of crew can be displayed in Crew List upon user’s choice.

• Use right-click menu to choose one of standard sizes or to enable Customization (automatic resize depending on cell height)

OUTPUT FROM THE SYSTEM A variety of output tools are available in APM. The possibilities are described in detail in separate information sheet, but below is a summary • Copy to clipboard (memory).

Reports

• Use one of the many pre-defined reports with flexible print parameters.

• Export any report in preview to .pdf or one of the other standard formats.

• Send any report in preview by –email.

• Have an unlimited number of pre-defined, customized reports available in the Report Generator.

• Customized reports can be linked to the applicable modules.

Mail Merge • Utilize the Mail Merge functionality in Word in seamless interaction with APM. • Use the query builder and fetch any field from the database as a bookmark in Word.

• Click the merge button to merge the selected Word template with data for the selected persons(s).

Analytical module • Utilize the Analytical Module to work with Pivot table approach to the database • Unlimited number of main queries can be defined.

• SQL and query builder available for administrator • User can define and save as many sub-models of each main query as necessary • Results can be displayed in tabular & graphical format

Datagroups common functionality • All data records are displayed in the Adonis standard grid.

• The company will decide how many and what tabs they want to have included in each of the data groups.

• The company will also set what columns they want to have visible in the grid below each tab.

•

• Customized fields and data groups can be created and organized.

• Customized data groups will fully appear as part of the system.

The end user can sort, filter, group and export required data as being permitted by access level. Use customized grid filters to simplify your search.
