RAPTURE OF THE CHURCH THE VISION:

Vision of The Two Golden Glorious Wedding Rings And The White Glorious Horse In The Sky

Prophet Dr. David Edward Owuor

he eloquent silence that has most recently characterized the relationship between the church of Christ and the Lord God, clearly notates the mediocrity with which today’s christians have perceived the Word. The christian walk has today degenerated into a meander that has at times recycled the church right back to the sin of the world. The hearts of the believers seem to have become so petrous that they are literally inaccessible by the life-transforming gospel of our Lord Jesus. The mediant arising from this seemingly simple but highly perceptible fall in the church, presents a drift from the original calling she was ordained with. It is a degrading state that has created two positions, one being the current state of the church and the other, the spiritually lofty place she ought to be. Redemption of today’s church will have to come from bridging the gap between these two spiritual locations. Although in the natural, restoration of today’s church may appear farfetched, it is otherwise the simple one-step process of repentance that will eradicate the mean free path which separates her from God. It is the wafting away along this mean free path that has almost derailed her from the most treasured appanage the Lord Jesus handed down at Calvary. Even in her wandering away, it is absolutely incredible that the Lord God Almighty has pertinaciously continued to pursue her that she may not miss out on the greatest inheritance of eternal life. This persistence by the Lord to draw the church back to the righteous path was to me on November 1st, 2006. The events that occured on this mighty November 1st, 2006, will live to be remembered both in heaven and on earth, and forever. As a matter of fact, it becomes the greatest translation of the love of God Almighty to the church today.

vember 1st, 2006, this spiritual occurrence has become the greatest expression of the great appetence he has for the church. Not only was this vision directly indicative of the things about to happen, but also it also speaks to the most important turning point in the history of the church. It all ensued on this November 1st, 2006, when I saw the visions of the Lord God Almighty. In this vision, I saw heaven open into the sky and a tremendous amount of glory outfluxed through the entrance that was opened and it covLet us rejoice and be glad and ered the sky. give him glory! For the wedding Clustering of the Lamb has come, and his around the bride has made herself ready. entrance to Revelation 19:7 heaven, this stunning glory of the Lord of Hosts, gradually colonized the entire expanse. What has never ceased to amaze me is the rate at which the clustering glory of the Lord poured into the sky, changing it from a pleasant toning, to a sky bustling with an unmatched luster of God’s presence. Little did I know, that all this spiritual magnificence across the sky was just but an array of fore- runner events in prospective arrival of what was about to be rolled out. At once in this vision, I was then able to spot from the distant inside glory within heaven what appeared like a golden tinge punctuating the luminous heaven. Persistent scrutiny of this golden touch of heavenly splendour, is what made me to realize that this golden was actually dynamic. It appeared to be moving towards the entrance to heaven that was opened in the sky. The closer this golden look came towards the entrance, the larger its size attained. While still puzzled by this, I quickly realized that what I was actually seeing, was a well-adorned golden casing which was sky bound. When this casing reached proximate to the sky, it opened and two golden and glorious wedding rings came out of it. As the casing and the wedding rings traversed the

DIVINE IMPACT 2012

Divine Impact is Wisdom Chapel International’s yearly program centered around the impartation of the Holy Spirit on God’s children. In this program, we celebrate the presence of God in the midst of His people through leadership development, praise and worship services and workshops, and Holy Spirit filled services. The church’s leadership workshops prepare leaders, in the body, for their ministries. Praise and worship workshops stress Christ centered music and worship services, where the presence of God is sought over the fame and acclaim of men. The workshops of Divine Impact stress that leaders be properly prepared before they are given any responsibility in the house of God. It is a six week training period climaxing with the 3 day Divine Impact program. This year’s theme will be “Preparing Leaders for the Next Generation”. These workshops and program will be a life changing experience and we pray that you join us!. Rev. Sammy Addy

Persevering In Hope visit www.adonaimag.tv for more articles

erseverance is the unyielding attitude of pressing on to achieve an object, even against great odds; the insatiable and persistent capacity that drives the child of God to seek for excellence, the ultimate price, and a deeper fellowship with God. It draws on purposefulness, faith, hope, love, and discipline, and it is the hallmark of great spiritual achievers in the bible. It is the exact opposite of complacency, and it energizes believers to strive to achieve higher planes in their commitments, prayer lives, meditation in God’s word, and fellowship with God/the body of Christ.

P

Such persons never give up in what they set themselves up achieving. They are ever-faithful where the word of God and His will are concerned. Therein resides the strength that separates men and women from the boys and girls. Perseverance was the secret behind the breakthroughs in the prayer episodes of Luke 11:5-10; 18:18. A persevering spirit helps the child of God snatch victory from the jaws of defeat (I Peter 5:8-10). Men of perseverance are built on, and full of, unshakable resolve or determination, and hope, which help them to press on until victory is achieved. Like the other marks of maturity, perseverance is a quality born out of adversity, and is found in those who have been tried and tested and never give up. It is not found amongst the fainthearted and novices in the faith. Perseverance, hence, finds a place in the Apostle Paul's chronicles of virtues of maturity (Philippians 3: 13-15). The bedrock of perseverance is purpose that is built on hope (Philippians 3:13-15; Hebrews 12:1, 2; Acts 20:24); and hope is the manifestation of a positive disposition and mindset towards the unknown and the future on the basis of God’s Word. Hope produces a sense of optimism, which calms our nerves with peace and positive expectations buttressed in a positive perception of God’s faithfulness, when dealing with futuristic issues of life. It makes the child of God patient, 6

w w w. a d o n a i m a g . t v

sober, faithful, joyful, persistent, and persevering; and it strengthens him/her to endure or hold on to the end (Romans 8: 24, 25; 1 Corinthians 15:58).

Hope is the anchor of the soul of the child of God that produces soberness, stability, and a sense of fortitude in the midst of stormy waters (Hebrews 6:19). It produces in the child of God an unshakable certainty that there will be light at the end of the tunnel, hence, the need to press on. In the absence of hopeful perseverance dreams die and investments become abandoned prematurely. What do you do when you’ve done all you can, and it seems like there is no light at the end of the tunnel; but the Word of God and the inner witness of the Holy Spirit urge you to press on: when love gestures are rebuffed, and you remain unappreciated; when after all the praying, the answer is still nowhere in sight, and you are being ridiculed by those who should know better? The Apostle Paul throws a challenge to those of us who feel like giving up on our loved ones in 2Corintians 12:15 with the words, ‘I will gladly spend and be spent for you, though the more abundantly I love you, the less I be loved”. He again challenges the weary of heart who feels like giving up on the venture the Lord has entrusted them with the words, “...be ye steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch you know that your labor is not in vain in the Lord (1Corinthians 15:58). To the goodhearted Paul said: “Let us not be weary in well doing; for in due season we shall reap if we faint not (Galatians; 6:9). Learn to resist Satan steadfast in faith, for the victory is not always instantaneous. The Bible says that there are times the Lord, in His divine wisdom, might permit us to go through a crisis for a while before He perfects, establishes, strengthens, and settles us (1Peter 5:8-10). Persevere in hope, for the Lords name is FAITHFUL AND TRUE.

You Are A King

careful survey of the Gospels will show that Jesus’ message was clearly kingdom focused and not religiously focused. Scripture after scripture from the Book of Matthew to John show and emphasize the preoccupation Jesus had with the kingdom concept rather than a religion.

A

Most important, Jesus’ position as King makes it necessary and essential that we rediscover and desire to understand the Kingdom as a concept and a reality. It is the foundation of God’s plan for mankind. When Pilate said, “You are a king then!” Jesus answered, “You are right in saying I am a king. In fact, for this reason I was born, and for this I came into the world, to testify to the truth” (Jn 18:37a). The very heart of any kingdom is its king. A kingdom is the governing impact of a king’s will over a territory or domain, his influence over a people, and a government led by a king. This definition perfectly describes the relationship of God to the heavenly realm. There is no corner of heaven where God’s will is not accomplished. In every way, God is the unrivaled and unequalled King of Heaven. The same was true in the natural realm when God extended His Kingdom authority to the earth through the man and woman He created in His image and released to rule in His name. They rebelled against the King’s authority, however, and lost their rulership. Control of the earthly realm then passed temporarily to a demonic usurper until the 8

w w w. a d o n a i m a g . t v

day in the King’s sovereign plan when it would be restored to its rightful ruler. In the fullness of time, Jesus came to the earth and re-established the Kingdom. Because only a king can establish a kingdom, this act alone reveals that Jesus Christ is the King. The Bible, the constitution of the Kingdom of Heaven, leaves no doubt as to the Kingship of Jesus. God, the Creator, created us for kingship—for dominion—and inside each of us is a latent kingdom consciousness striving for expression. This consciousness reveals itself in various ways, such as in our natural resistance to being ruled or controlled by any other person and our continual longing to control the circumstances of our own lives. That is what finally connected me to Jesus—when I realized that He could teach me how to run life, not let life run me. I learned that I could control my own circumstances. The search for power is a natural human drive. We all seek power over circumstances, and that is what the Kingdom of Heaven promises. Jesus said, “I will testify to the truth of the Kingdom, and when you hear Me, you will believe it” (Jn 18:37b, paraphrase). We connect with the Kingdom message because it addresses the most deep-seated longing of our heart—our longing to be kings, as God created us to be.

Love Disarms Satan

visit www.adonaimag.tv for more articles

eople all over the world wish there is a way of getting Satan to back off and leave them alone. We wish our businesses will prosper, churches will grow, and marriages will be enjoyable. We wish we could have good relationships with extended family members and others around us. We wish we could understand how to please God. We search for love, and desire to be understood and loved.

P

Well, if we had our way and all of the above came true, it would indicate that Satan must been very ill/sick or rendered powerless. Actually, I realize that there is a way of giving Satan a nervous breakdown and overcoming his devices. That way is the way of LOVE. I read a small portion of Joyce Meyer’s book (“Reduce Me to Love”), and she says, “Love is the greatest thing in life and walking in love should be our main focus.” This is well in line with 1 Cor. 13:3. Love is the only power that can give Satan a nervous breakdown. 1 John 4:8 says, “He who does not love does not know God, for God is love.” Verse 11 helps us to understand that we ought to love others, since God so loves us; and “…he who abides in love abides in God and God in him” – verse 16. If you have God, then Satan is in trouble. To have God is to have love. Satan brings hate, but God brings love. When you show love you are breaking Satan’s back and sending him limping away with shame. If you want to be loved, then seek love. God is love, therefore, seek God. Love is the weapon for fighting your spiritual warfare onto victory. If you are facing problems, keep sending love and you will overcome. If you want to render Satan useless in your life, readjust your priorities by making “loving others” your priority. To love others is a decision, not a feeling (“a decision to treat people as Jesus would treat them”). When you make such a decision, there is usually a huge shift in your lifestyle: Thoughts, habits and conversations will change. Love is tangible: It can be seen and touched by everyone 10

w w w. a d o n a i m a g . t v

you come in contact with. Love costs: Each time you choose to love someone, it will cost something: money, time, effort, etc. but God will help you to pay the price. I said if we’re seeking to be loved or we’re seeking all things to be well, it is God that we’re seeking. God is love and the best way to get love is to obey God’s commandments. He commands that we love others. If we do not obey this, then we do not love God and those who do not love God cannot paralyze the devil. “Are you lovable?” Yes, you are. Romans 5:8 says God demonstrated His love for you, in that Christ died for you even while you were yet a sinner. Eph. 1:5 says God has adopted you through Christ. God conquers evil with good (Rom. 12:21), you and I must exhibit His nature by doing what He did. Get comfortable with saying “God loves me” (Repeat it). If you can get this into your mind and believe it, then you can love others. You can only give what you have (1 John 4:10-11). If you dare to love others, you’ll paralyze Satan because all he knows is hate. Love gives little things. To a man, working many jobs are important and big but taking out some time to stay home and talk with the family, going out once a while etc. are little, However, it is the little things that bring spice to marriage. Love adds up salt to others lives (Matt. 5:13). Be generous to someone, and then poverty or lack (Satan’s tools) will be put to shame. Say kind words to someone, and loneliness and anger will disappear. Yes, you can do it; it only takes some efforts (Prov. 12:18; 16:24). How do you feel when you are referred to as ugly, stupid, a failure, incompetent, hopeless etc. These are the tools in Satan’s hands to keep you down. But you can disarm him when you see yourself and others as attractive, intelligent, hopeful, blessed, creative, anointed, etc. Start loving today, the devil will be embarrassed and let go of you. Please take some time to read 1 Corinthians 13:18, and you’ll understand how to beat Satan hands-down.

The Way to Win in Times of Stress and Struggle an you think of a time in your life when you needed to press through something in faith? Maybe you’re going through a trial of some kind right now and you’re struggling to stay positive. In times like that it’s nice to receive encouragement from family and friends. But ultimately, we need to decide for ourselves that we will have victory in the end.

C

If you think about it, almost nothing worthwhile happens in life without having to press through some area of difficulty. It’s just part of the journey of life. The fact is, we can either suffer the pain of fighting our battle to the finish or we can give up and suffer the pain of defeat. I’ve come to realize it’s better for me to do what God requires of me from the beginning because the truth is: He always has my best interest at heart and He is not going to change His mind.

When Your Feelings Get in God’s Way Sometimes God delivers us from hardship and sometimes He takes us through it. The choice is up to Him. He knows what we need, when we need it. And when we’re in the midst of a struggle, it helps to ask this question: Am I willing to serve God and not understand everything? If we’re only willing to serve God when everything’s going our way, then we aren’t trusting Him entirely. We need to serve God at all times, even when we don’t feel like it. Think about it. If we only did what we wanted to in life, we wouldn’t accomplish a whole lot would we? We need to press past average and do what is excellent―not just once or twice, but day after day, after day, after day. Then, when you make it through to the end, you can 12

w w w. a d o n a i m a g . t v

turn around and laugh at the obstacles behind you.

When It Feels Like Faith Isn’t Working One thing you must remember is that God is always with you and He’s always for you. The enemy wants very badly for us to forget that. So each time we experience progress in our journey of pressing through something, he will try to take it back. The enemy tries to get us caught up in a lot of negative thoughts and feelings: rejection, betrayal, abandonment, jealousy, discouragement, and depression―even disappointment with God. When he is pressing against us, we have to continue to stand in faith and press in to God’s Word, keeping our eyes fixed on the promises He’s given us. I encourage you to make up your mind and say, “I don’t care how long it takes or how hard it is to get through this, I’m not giving up! I am not going to live in bondage! I am not going to let my past control me!” Be determined to have the very best God can give you.

How to Rise Above Current Struggles Philippians 3:10-11 says, [For my determined purpose is] that I may know Him… That if possible I may attain to the [spiritual and moral] resurrection [that lifts me] out from among the dead [even while in the body]. Do you see what Paul is saying? There’s a place, spiritually, where we can be lifted above every evil thing. This means that no matter how people treat you, you can have God’s joy in your heart, and no matter what kind of storm you’re in, you can have the peace that surpasses all understanding (see Philippians 4:7). I believe God wants us to press on for more of what He has in store. He wants us to enjoy the journey. And

F

“Off the rails.” I don’t know how many times I’ve voiced this phrasing in recent weeks, let alone this year. But apparently it’s my new favorite saying. Whether I’ve been referring to the media fire storm surrounding the explosive Trayvon Martin case with defendant George Zimmerman, who seems to have already been considered guilty until proven innocent by the court of public opinion . . . Or the ongoing U.S. Secret Service scandal in which eleven S.S. members had to be sent home for heaving drinking and consorting with prostitutes during President Barack Obama’s spring trip to South America . . . Or even in the church and an incident occurring earlier this year where a gimmick-prone prominent pastor/televangelist stayed in a bed with his wife on his church’s rooftop in order to “encourage” Christian couples to have “healthy sex lives” . . . Whether I’ve been referring to any of these things, I have become well acquainted with assessing a troublesome situation, thinking that “right” has now changed places with “wrong” and seeing that someone or something has gone way “off the rails.” Granted, our world has been “off the rails” since Adam and Eve went their own way in the Garden of Eden a long time ago. But these days, it seems to be happening more and more and it is sobering to see the world around us so quickly imploding. As believers, we know that when we abandon the order of Scripture, we embrace the chaos of life. And nothing good ever comes from that. Just think back to times in your life when you were walking in a manner that could not be backed by Scripture. Now, that’s really every day for all of us—especially if 14

w w w. a d o n a i m a g . t v

we’re in touch with our depravity and our desperate need for a Savior. But I am also reminded of a specific time period in my life that most vividly displays when I have been “off the rails.” And no good came out of that . . . at least at the time it didn’t. But years later, the Lord used what I thought were poor life choices as building blocks to bring me back closer to him. I learned that my chaos lead to confusion and destruction, while pursuing order leads to life and growth. Perhaps the latter is why so much time is devoted to the “order” of the temple that Solomon built in Jerusalem. I’ve wondered about that as I’ve been studying in 2 Chronicles recently. Why did God include so much detail for us to read? What is he trying to show us by communicating the requirements for measurements, building materials, layout and personnel? And why did it take so long to complete? But stepping back . . . isn’t this what is required of all Christ followers who are temples of the living God? Who must build our lives according to the instructions we see laid out for us in God’s Word? And shouldn’t we take on a project like “building a temple” with as much dedication and focus and enthusiasm and order as Solomon did in the Old Testament? Even though the world is going “off the rails,” that doesn’t mean that you or I have to follow suit. A life lived in faithfulness and obedience to Scripture, a life with steps ordered by God through the power of Holy Spirit, a life built on the promises of God’s Word will not be sidetracked and will glorify God. RAPTURE OF THE CHURCH

contd. from pg. 4

entrance to heaven that was opened into the sky, the casing was placed on the left while the two wedding rings positioned the right-hand side of this opening. A careful look at the casing of the rings revealed that what I was seeing constituted a very powerfully beautified and decorated spiritual artefact. The empty casing of the wedding rings sat on the left-hand side to the opened entrance of heaven. The inside of this open casing showed a velvet- like blood red lining that had carefully been embroidered within the interior portion. On the outside this casing presented a golden dot-like rich surface texture. Put together the casing for the golden wedding rings was more of an antique in the sky.

Golden Wedding Rings On the right-hand side on the entrance to heaven, I saw the two wedding rings that came from heaven. The two wedding rings I saw were very identical in size and shape. The manner in which their exposition across the sky was paraded disclosed not only identity in size but also quality of both the external and interior surfaces. The God of heaven at this time, kept rotating the wedding rings in all directions facilitating my complete viewing and understanding of the great skill and craftsmanship that had been invested in designing and developing these rings. In their being rotated, the wedding rings emitted tremendous glory even as the clustering brilliance of God’s presence wrapped and engirded them. How long this flipping, tilting and rotating lasted, I could not say but all I can remember is that the Lord made me aware of his heart-felt sense of accomplishment and achievement at this adornation. It were as though God Almighty was contently saying, “Look and see what I have done all this time in preparation for the wedding of the Lamb.” This offered me a great lesson on the importance of not only doing things to accomplish assigned task, but most importantly doing them most excellently. I could obviously read into the inevitable challenge that the spectacular show of the beautified wedding rings posed to the nations of the earth. It unveiled the fact that God Almighty had once again accomplished his portion of the task to redeem the church. The first portion was clearly the crucifixion of Jesus for the church, and now the second is his part on the wedding of the Lamb. The closer I narrowed into observing this two wedding rings, the more revealing it became. The honour and wilfulness of heaven to the wedding of the Lamb was indeed obvious on the face of these rings. The wedding 16

w w w. a d o n a i m a g . o r g

rings I saw are truly imbued with the novel royalty and majesty of the Kingdom of God. The surfaces of the two wedding rings were finished with such a beautiful decoration of dot-like rich gold that remained punctuating as little protrusions. These dots of gold covered the outer part of their surfaces in such a way that when these surfaces are touched they would produce a feeling of easy traction. The colour of the gold itself did bring out a richer component of this metal. Most notably, is the outer part that normally displays when one wears a wedding ring. This specific portion was relatively over-pampered with additions of diamond-like gold. A myriad of glitter emanated from this section of the ring hence creating an indescribable blend of very rich reddish-brown gold within a diamond-like glitter. At this juncture within the vision, I could almost hear the quiet undertones that appear to be saying “Then what amount of wealth on earth have you to ignore me?” It was nothing but incomparable splendour of God! Still in the process of viewing this once-in-a-lifetime sign and wonder of this age, I was able to notice that the inside part of the ring that gains contact with the finger, had a tremendous beautiful smoothening that presented a spread-out from centre pattern. The patterns I saw were not straight but beautifully waved their way towards the edge of the ring.

The Mighty Voice Of God At the height of this glamourous exposition of the two wedding rings in the sky, then came forth the mighty Voice of the Lord God. The Voice of God that I heard, came forthright from the inside of heaven, thundering through the still sky. This caused me to tremble in this vision. The Voice of the Lord said, “From today on, all authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Christ Jesus.” Right after this mighty Voice, a quiet still arrested the sky again as the two golden and most glorious wedding rings remained in place. But, in the course of my undivided attention on the wedding rings, then came the powerful Voice of the Lord God again. This time the Voice said, “Look and see who is seated on the white horse.”

Vision Of The White Horse In response to this mighty Voice of the Lord God, as I looked right above the two golden and glorious wed-

e all have times when things go wrong. These times can either make us or break us. But if we know who our Heavenly Father is, it shall come to pass without overcoming us.

W

There have been times when as children we have wished for so many things, but never got them, because there is a Father in Heaven who knows what is best for us, and what is the right time to have them. As kids, our parents have been willingly providing for us all the time, but there will be times when, no

matter how much we desire certain things, we would be refused what we want, because they may be facing certain difficulties. That is the time we should bear with our parents’ sudden change, and pray to our Heavenly Father on their behalf, so that the Lord will help them overcome whatever difficulties they may be facing. Dear children, it is never too late to start praying for your parents. As we celebrate our fathers this month we should trust in the Lord, and pray for them daily, and it shall be well with us and the family.

If you have not said I love you Dad to your father, then go to him and say it now.

And give him a big happy father’s day hug. 18

Itchy Skin

czema (atopic dermatitis, eczematous dermatitis) Eczema is a chronic disorder characterized by itchy and scaly rashes. It affects children and adults. Typical skin changes vary among patients. Eczema affects millions of people worldwide. The skin is the window to what is happening in the body.

E

hands and feet commonly with small fluid filled blisters called vesicles. Dishidrotic eczema is seen in health care workers (physicians and nurses) due to frequent hand washing or sensitivity to latex. Contact dermatitis is caused when the skin comes in contact with a specific irritant, i.e. latex, nickel. This irritant causes a discrete rash characteristic.

Causes Eczema (atopic dermatitis) is caused by a hypersensitivity reaction type I in the skin. It is characterized as an inflammatory, chronically relapsing condition. Atopic dermatitis is most common in infants starting between ages 2-6 months. Patients with atopic dermatitis are termed, atopic and may also suffer from asthma or seasonal allergies. Often there is a family history of hay fever, eczema and patients have a positive allergy test.

Symptom and types of eczema Typical skin lesions and skin coloring changes, blisters, raw areas from scratching, thickened or scaly areas called lichenification which can occur after long term scratching and irritation. In darker skin, patients may exhibit post inflammatory hyperpigmentation or darkening of the skin 1. The type and location of the rash can vary depending on the age of the patient. 2. In children younger than age 2, rash can be seen on the face, scalp, hands, feet. 3. In older children, the rash is more common on the neck, hands and feet. Some patients experience severe eczema with rashes everywhere on the body. 4. Nummular eczema is characterized as a coin shaped lesion or plaque on the skin. Its circular nature often is mistaken for other skin disorders, i.e. ringworm. Dishidroitic eczema is small, itchy blisters on the hands and feet. It can be located on the edges of fingers, 22

Diagnosis: Diagnosis of eczema is based on the appearance of the skin, a thorough personal and family history. Physical examination and allergy evaluation must be conducted.

Treatment: 1. Treatment of eczema is with conservative skin care measures including taking tepid water showers and baths. 2. A gentle moisturizer should be used on all body parts. 3. In contact dermatitis, removing the offending agent (i.e., nickel, triggers, irritating substances) will reduce the incidence. 4. Scratching only makes the condition worse. Antiitch medicines taken by mouth, such as diphenhydramine (Benadryl) and loratiadine (such as Claritin). 5. Apply an ointments or creams on the hands at least two times per day, and after every hand washing. 6. Heavy ointments are best. Petroleum jelly (such as Vaseline). 7. Creams are better than lotions. Creams such as Eucerin and Lubriderm may be helpful. 8. Aloe vera can be useful with itching and clearance of eczema lesions 9. In severe cases, treatment typically consists of topical steroid ointments or cream. 10. Remember to consult your doctor if symptoms don’t resolve or other symptoms arise. It is the Lord that heals you…

Our Dependence Upon God e hear a lot about personal independence these days. We're told to "be your own person" and encouraged not to follow the crowd. And there's a lot of truth to that, because "the crowd" doesn't always make godly decisions.

W

But as focused as we are on independence, we need to be reminded of one thing: God created us to be dependent beings. We are created to rely on Him and Him alone. That means personal independence is a deception and a perversion of God's plan. He created us to be dependent on a number of things, but chief among them is dependence on God Himself. The essence of successful Christianity is a daily dependence upon the Lord for all our significant needs.

Have you ever noticed how often Scripture comp a r e s mankind to sheep? Sheep are weak, vulnerable animals. They can't protect themselves. They aren't aggressive, don't have sharp teeth, and are poor navigators. Sheep can't travel any distance without help and get lost easily. Because of this, sheep can't provide very well for themselves. They lack the predatory skills to gather food independently.

member Psalm 23? "The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want." A person who understands his or her weakness and accepts the need for God's protection and leadership is a person who will live a life of incredible blessing and fullness. It is only when we pursue independence—when we are convinced we can make it on our own—that we get into trouble. That's the reason Satan was able to lead Adam and Eve into rebellion in the Garden. Human nature desires independence. Our fallen nature is such that we hate being dependent upon anything, including God. The prophet Isaiah said it best: "All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned, every one, to his own way; and the Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all" (Isaiah 53:6). In fact, I would go so far as to say an independent spirit is at the core of human sin. Yet the more mature we become in Christ, the healthier we become—and the more we accept the fact that we must be dependent upon God. The essence of successful Christianity is a daily dependence upon the Lord for all our significant needs. The prayerful, trusting believer has accepted his or her dependence upon Christ and has learned to trust in Him daily as a faithful shepherd.

God looks at us and says, "You're my sheep." What does this mean? In essence, He's saying, "You need me. I created you without the ability to get where you're going or provide for yourself."

Isaiah 40:11 describes what this relationship looks like: "He will feed His flock like a shepherd; He will gather the lambs with His arm, and carry them in His bosom, and gently lead those who are with young."

It's not surprising, then, when Jesus refers to Himself as the Good Shepherd. We are dependent on God to guide us, provide for us, and protect us. Re-

God has promised us gentle, loving provision and protection. Don't let your desire for independence keep you from missing out on His blessing.

RAPTURE OF THE CHURCH

ding rings, I saw the clusters of the Lord’s glory unwrap the most powerful and glorious white horse. The horse I saw was so mighty as no man can fathom. He was standing while covered by the glory of the Lord. It is then that suddenly having realized that I had seen him, the horse began to get ready to leave. This entire episode took place so fast on the right-hand side of heaven. I could then see the tail of the mighty powerful and glorious white horse wagging, as in readiness to go. Then, in a split-second the mighty glorious white horse left at a very high speed running across the sky. It is at that moment that I was able to look above the white glorious horse in an attempt to see who the Rider of the horse was. The mighty Voice of the Lord had spoken about the Rider of this horse. To my greatest astonishment, I saw the Son of Man, riding the white glorious horse across the sky. The Rider of this white horse is our Lord Jesus, the coming Messiah! This now became the moment of reality and serious awakening within this vision.

The Revelation The unequivocal message that permeates from this mighty visitation of the Lord God himself, is that time has run out for the church. Far from the usual rhetoric on the coming of the Lord, the moment of truth seems to have hit home in the church. If there was anything to snatch and run away with from this historic vision, it is that preparations for the wedding of the Lamb of God have been finalized in heaven. The cadre of preparedness that God the Father has entered into, is one seldom seen in his previous contact with the church. Spectacularly displaying the finished wedding rings, implicitly points towards the fact that the wedding is ready. Moreover, the perfect combination of splendour, majesty and glamour, accompanying the style with which the Lord God presented the two golden wedding rings into the sky puts a new weight onto the rapture. A visitation of this nature can only wax-up the fear of Him that is seated on the throne of God. Having gone through this mighty visitation, it is as though the church has walked without revelation on who actually the Messiah is. When heaven opened into the dark sky in this vision, a special message was released right there. The passage of time has at this moment caused God the Father to involve the church in a more direct conversation about a significant event that matters to Him. This darkness has been endemic to the church for sometime now hence eroding her eloquence as the light of the world. 26

w w w. a d o n a i m a g . t v

Furthermore, one quickly sees a major depiction by the Lord of a new day in the life of the church. This new day is most certainly a day of light and not darkness. In that way, God Almighty is prevailing upon the church to change her behaviour from the nightly conduct of drunkeness and immorality into righteousness. The church was handed down an appanage of inheritance as children of the light (Ephesians 5:8-11). It is this latter glory coming in clusters that will purify today’s church by making her radiant to the point where she can be found worthy to wear the brilliant wedding ring. This glory that appeared in clusters, is the same glory that came down when Jesus was baptized in the Jordan, and remained the same glory that came down on the mountain of transfiguration. Like did this glory transform the raiment of the Lord at transfiguration, so should it cleanse the wedding gown with which the church must be clothed for the rapture. It is amazing that the same glory lifted Jesus off into the rapture after his resurrection from the dead (Acts 1:9). This cloud is the mighty Holy Spirit whom the church is expected to embrace and walk in. The opening of the entrance to heaven also emphasizes that God himself is now ready to receive the fruit of the Cross, which is the holy church of Christ into heaven. This is synonymous with when one goes to a restaurant, only to find that it is yet too early and the doors closed. Most often than not, a note will be hanging on the door reading “closed”. Even though one were able to see the restaurant owner walking around inside, cleaning, etc, they are not able to enter into the restaurant because the sign on the door reads “closed”. But when the time for opening the restaurant arrives, the owner would usually be seen opening the door and flipping the written sign to now read “Open”. In the same way, the Lord God Almighty in heaven, has flipped the sign into the sky and it now reads “OPEN”, implying that at this moment he is ready to receive the church. Such a period has long been awaited in the church. Even Isaiah prophesied about it when he said “....And to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favour...” (Isaiah 61:2). It is extreme favour that calls on the church to clear up her spiritual vision so as to be able to see this open heaven. Lately, the vision of the church has been beclouded with the world. But now the Lord is asking the church to lift up her head and look into the sky to see what He has done. Exhortation of the church on the wedding of the Lamb has never been so real as it cont. on pg. 32

It's Not Your Fight any More youth advanced slowly towards his opponent across the narrow flat valley. On the other side stood a giant of a man bellowing insults, but David didn't seem afraid.

A

The giant came with state-of-the-art military equipment -- scale body-armor, helmet, and greaves to protect his legs. He carried a spear and a sword, with a javelin slung across his back. Goliath towered over the soldier who bore his shield. The teenager, on the other hand, was clad in the simple garb of a shepherd. He carried a staff for close quarter fighting, but that was all. That and a crude sling he had woven. The boy paused and knelt at the stony stream bed as the giant kept up a steady barrage of foul boasts. The lad examined the river rocks made smooth by the tumbling of winter rains, looking for stones just a bit larger than a golf ball that would fit into his simple sling. When he had selected five, he slipped them into his pouch and stood up. The massive warrior seemed insulted that his opponent was just a lad. "Come here, boy," he yelled. "When I'm done with you, the vultures and the coyotes can eat what's left!" Goliath had worked himself into a rage. But the boy was not intimidated. "You come against me with sword and spear and javelin," he shouted, "but I come against you in the name of Yahweh Almighty, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied. Yahweh doesn't need a sword or spear to save. For the battle is the Lord's, and he will give you and the entire Philistine army into our hands!" The giant Philistine was trusting in his size, his weaponry, and his long battle experience. But David was relying on the Lord – and in that faith he began 28

w w w. a d o n a i m a g . o r g

to run toward the slow-moving giant. When he had come within range, he stopped, placed a stone into his sling, and began to swing it round and round, faster and raster. The whirring, buzzing sound increased until the boy, trained by years of practice in the sheep-fields, let it fly. The hefty stone sped at nearly 100 miles an hour and struck Goliath square in the forehead. Its force toppled the giant who was dead before his massive body crashed to the ground. It's easy to misunderstand this famous story: the young boy against the warrior-giant; David's puny sling vs. Goliath's state-of-the-art weaponry; the weak against the strong. But that's not the point. The sling was a lethal military weapon in skilled hands – and David had practiced long hours in the sheepfields to perfect his technique against the predators that threatened his flock. The point is that the Giant trusted in his prowess, while David's boldness came from his absolute faith in the Lord his God -- that God would help him. And so David overcame his natural fear to face the giant because he knew that his God was bigger than the giant. What are you facing? Have your fears have immobilized you? Do you imagine that it's you alone against your giants? Learn from David! He understood the key element: "The battle is the Lord's." Your battles are not your own if you belong to Jesus. He will help you no matter how lopsided the odds seem to be. For this is not you against the giant. Your giant is puny compared to Almighty God. With God, it's not an even battle! And if God is for us, who can be against us? Two key truths will make the difference for you, if you can grasp them, believe them, and act in them. First, the Lord is with you And second, it's not your fight any longer. The battle is the Lord's!

RAPTURE OF THE CHURCH

contd. from pg. 26

now is. Such an instruction as is seen in this vision, endorses to the church the fact that she has a share into the glorious Kingdom of God. That open door in heaven is for her sake. However, this visitation does not come without a levy of equivalent responsibility on the christian. The narrative on the perfectioning artwork, design, craftsmanship, and the final development of the blueprint on the wedding rings, directly conveys the seriousness with which the Lord God views the wedding of the Lamb of God. But now that the two wedding rings are so wonderfully decorated with a precious rich gold, what could be the message to the church? First and foremost, when it comes to the wedding of the Lamb of God, a festival is commanded by Jehovah in which a trumpet blast must be realized. In observance of such an event, God Almighty commands that at that point, no other type of sacrifice be offered except one that is prepared by fire (Leviticus 23:23-25). The procedure employed in the production of pure rich gold of the nature Jehovah God presented in the sky on November 1st, 2006, requires the use of high temperature fire. This course is followed in order to separate out the different impurities that might defile gold and reduce its intended worth. It surely is common knowledge that different metals have different melting points. The more the heat is fired on during the processing of gold, the more impure metals such as iron, zinc, aluminium, bronze, titanium, name it, etc, melt out. It is really this melt-out that leaves alone the pure gold. Without such high temperatures, the other metals would not let go of good gold. Similarly, when the Lord God Almighty presented the two wedding rings out of pure rich gold, he most definitely implied to the church that from then henceforth she would need to strive to become golden. But the process of the church becoming golden requires the purification by fire. It is such fire that dislodges impurities so as to restore the original intended worth of gold in the church. Well, being spiritual wedding rings, the golden artifacts that the Lord presented in sky, can only have been purified through the mighty works of the fire of the Holy Spirit (Zechariah 13:7-9). And by this, the Lord is asking of the church that she avails herself to the fire of the Holy Spirit for purification. Among the impurities that the Holy Spirit would like to dislodge off today’s church include sexual sin, love of money, witchcraft, false prophets, false apostles, ho32

mosexuality, lesbianism, kingdoms of men, etc. Therefore, it is extremely exigent that the church would move with speed to redeem the lost time so as to allow the Holy Spirit to purge the dross off her. Until this happens the Lord God will have no reason to exonerate her. The fire of the Holy Spirit becomes so important into the life of the church because this defiling intermarriage between her and sin is totally an aberration of the truth. It is all known too well that Christ the head of the church, is completely immiscible with sin. To this end, the church too was called (2 Corinthians 6:14-18). It is such purification by the fire of the Holy Spirit that would bring the much needed second deliverance into the church. Such a deliverance was promised in the bible especially in the days prior to the rapture. The cleansing of sin from the church is spiritual even because the wedding rings in the sky are equally spiritual. Notwithstanding, with the exhibition of such mighty splendour in the sky, the Holy Spirit is telling the church that it is upon her purification and dressing in a white spotless, glorious gown, bright and clean, that such heavenly splendour will have accomplished its intended end (Revelation 19:6-9; Psalm 45:12-15). However, the wedding gown made out of fine linen, bright and clean is the righteousness of the church. Holiness then, becomes a spiritual attribute that the church ought to crave for right now (Hebrews 12:14; 1 Peter 1:15; 1 John 3:3). It is the brilliance of the wedding gown which the church wears that will emit the fragrance of gladness during the wedding of the Lamb. It appears as though the church has lived much less than what her identity calls for and that in this conversation the Lord is appraising her to not forget that she is a royal bride. The description of the wedding gown she ought to prepare for the auspicious occasion of the wearing of the wedding ring presented in the sky, includes the beautiful adornment of her wedding gown with embroidery of gold. Such purity of holiness must be achieved in the church that enters into the wedding of the Lamb. This is the message the Lord handed down to the church on November 1st, 2006 when he presented the two wedding rings in the sky.

The Way to Win in Times of Stress and Struggle

contd. from pg. 12

above all, He wants us to have a life that affects other people in positive, life-giving ways. Take It One Day at a Time People who press in and press on are people who do great things for God. And every single one of us can live like this by God’s grace if we choose to do it because God never asks us to do anything without giving us the ability to do it. Philippians 3:13-14 tells us to forget what lies behind and strain forward “to win the [supreme and heavenly] prize to which God in Christ Jesus is calling us upward” (AMP). The best way to do that is to take life one day at a time because we’re living in a world filled with trouble and stress and it takes a lot of power to live in victory today. There are many things that happen in life that come against us―disappointments, offenses, etc. But God chose us to live at this time in history and He knows what He’s doing. With His help, we can get through the trials and troubles we face and be victorious over them. So today, I simply want to encourage you to press on. Remember, you already have the victory because God is on your side.

PROPHECY WATCH

By Pastor John K. Siaw

Part 1: There is going to be a shake, a shake in this nation like you have never seen before. Like you have never heard before. And I want you to get prepared for it. For I will shake the very foundations of this nation. Shake the political systems and shake the church systems. And I will bring down mountains and those who feel that they’re untouchable. For I have had enough.

Part 2: For this is my time, and I am saying it so that you will prepare yourself. For surely, that flood is on the move, the rain is about to fall, it shall shake, it shall shake, it shall shake. And the shaking shall affect those that have no foundation. And those that have their foundations in Me shall survive. There shall be casualties and those that fall by the wayside shall have no second chance and those that fall shall be trampled over. But those that stand shall endure and shall be honored by Me. This is My word.
