An evolving group which invites speakers and holds active discussions on topics of shared interest, such as women in science, the arts, literature, and government .

Men’s Group

An affinity group meeting every week to discuss pressing topics and active living in the 21st century .

Current Events A topic-based, moderated discussion forum for all residents, led each week by Linda Garfield .

Book Club - Once a month, join Amanda Bacalis, Librarian at West Bloomfield Township Public Library for a Book Club discussion on some of the Bestselling Literature of the day . Amanda attended Lake Superior State University in Sault Ste . Marie and Wayne State, where she received her Bachelors in Psychology and Masters in Library Science . Amanda started at the West Bloomfield Township library in 2007 and has been the Adult Services Outreach Coordinator since 2010 .

Community Sing - Join Dan Bergen each Tuesday to sing with your neighbors . Did you know there are several proven emotional and physical benefits of choral singing? Singing in community strengthens feelings of togetherness, regulates heart rate, reduces stress levels and depression, improves symptoms of Parkinson's and lung disease, improves feelings of social well-being, and can even increase life expectancy . All vocal parts and comfort levels are welcome . Perfect Pair - Intergenerational connections are important for our health, wellness, and awareness and appreciation of the changing world . Stop by to learn more about Perfect Pair, a free program run through the University of Michigan that creates one-on-one connections between seniors and college students . Student volunteers and senior participants are paired based on similar hobbies and interests . Through shared laughs, conversation, and fun activities, members will have the opportunity to foster meaningful and long-lasting relationships with their Perfect Pair .

Poetry & Short Story Readings are a new monthly activity where residents can share their poetry or short stories that they have written or one that has moved them during a particular moment . We have many talented residents; this activity will encourage expression and facilitate shared experiences .

DETROIT SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA COFFEE CONCERT SERIES Beethoven Piano Concerto No.4 - April 8th

Paul Lewis joins the DSO for Beethoven's serene Fourth Concerto, today a staple of the piano repertoire . Dvořák's Seventh Symphony was written in a flurry of Czech nationalism – "God grant that this Czech music will move the world!" the composer wrote .

Saint-Georges & Mozart 39 - May 27th

In a program highlighting composers of the Classical era, violinist Karen Gomyo performs the First Violin Concerto of Joseph Bologne, Chevalier de SaintGeorges . Known as both a champion fencer and violinist, his concertos offered a way to demonstrate both his expressiveness and virtuosity . We also hear one of the famed late symphonies of another eccentric personality, Mozart's majestic Symphony No . 39 .

ARTICIPATE STUDIO - APRIL 14TH

We are taking a trip to visit Articipate’s Studio, home of one of our favorite art teachers! Debby will conduct a ceramics class for all skill levels . Following our artistic session, we will enjoy lunch at the Green Lantern in Berkley .

STONEY CREEK PICNIC - MAY 25TH

Enjoy a picnic lunch and a day out with residents from All Seasons Rochester Hills and Birmingham at Stoney Creek Metropark . Ladderball, bocce ball, and corn hole games to be enjoyed following lunch .
