Monique Olsen is an award-winning artist based in SW Florida, born in Chicago, and raised in Central America. She is a multidisciplinary creative, excelling in painting, ceramics, and illustration. She received her formal education in Fine Arts and Teaching. Her paintings have been exhibited at the Naples Depot Museum, the Norris Center, Marco Island Executive Airport, Kotler Art Gallery, Audubon Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary, Rookery Bay National Estuarine Research Center, among other prestigious venues. In addition, artworks have been juried in art festivals such as the Naples Uptown Art Festival, Gasparilla Festival of the Arts, and more. Monique's art is deeply affected by her connection with nature, and the diverse customs and values instilled by her upbringing.
