“As a high-school senior, I thought the only way to gain my independence was to be as far as way from Charlotte (my hometown), but I realized that whether you’re close to home or not, whether you’re a first-year, transfer, or out-ofstate student, you will still learn how to gain your independence. It’s all about pushing yourself!”
