Hartfield Country Club A COVID-depleted field met at Hartfield Country Club in Forrestfield for the third fixture of the WADA Golf season. This event was sponsored by Insight Dental Ceramics, and we were pleased to be joined by Insight owners and ceramists Andres Vivanco and Angus Wilshaw for the day. The early onset of the winter rains provided challenging conditions for the 17 players who braved the damp and squally conditions. Scoring reflected the tough conditions, with no one able to play to their handicap. Once again, the winner was determined by a countback, with Ian McCarrey again missing out to eventual winner Richard Williams, both scoring 32 stableford points. Stu Phillips was a close third with 31 stableford points. 1st

The winner’s prize was presented by Andres and Angus, who also took the opportunity to address the group on the comprehensive laboratory services provided by Insight as a locally owned and operated business. The accompanying photograph shows Andres and Angus presenting Richard Williams with the winner’s prize. This was the first time Insight Dental Ceramics have sponsored a WADA Golf event and our thanks are extended to Andres and Angus for their generous support.

The race for the Cec White Trophy, presented to the best dental golfer at the end of the year, sees Ian McCarrey breaking away from the group after two excellent performances.
