Dear Readers, welcome back. The world is changing, and together with the seasons and the weather, we also are adapting. As we change so we modify the dynamics that lead us to measure up to society and the market, altering our purchase behavior. What will the “Customer of the Future” look like? Many people are trying to analyze this question without finding certain answers. The only thing we can do is analyze the different likely scenarios working with the numbers we have available. Take for example the American market, very close to us at Adamis: in the US, as in Italy and Switzerland, we provide services for major groups in the luxury and cosmetics sectors. It is not easy, because we have to analyze countless behavioral, social and cultural statistics in advance before being able to provide an “experiential” service to our client. But through hard work, we try to anticipate “modes & models” of the approach to buying, modulating formations that can match the real needs of the Client 3.0, seeking to make their purchase “live” as a positive experience to be repeated. Let’s look at some data to get a picture of the situation: a recent analysis has shown that in the US 10% of so-called top earners (with an annual income of $ 120,000 or more) accounts for about half of the country’s entire consumption. This important demographic slice prefers online payments, and eCommerce in general, requiring brands in the world of luxury especially to rethink substantially the processes by which they interact with the customer. In many cases thanks also to our support, an attempt is made to create a “customer experience” able to remain distinctive and engaging in every sales channel. Business Intelligence has also recently published an analysis of the habits and preferences of ideal potential customers targeted by the luxury brands. It is estimated that by the end of 2016, these will spend 7% more in fashion, travel and living. Altogether, this sum comes to US$37.8 billion more being spent in 2016 than in the previous year. This bucks the trend of the “average consumer”, whose consumption is instead expected to decline by 1%. It is this very important slice of consumers which, combined with Millennials, will play an important role in the definition of the “new consumer”. He or she is a new protagonist that the major luxury brands are wooing with the obsolete, but still effective, technique of “Best Service”. A Beauty Consultant able to interpret all the needs and requirements of customers, or a Makeup Artist who can introduce the customer into a world of elites and colors, fragrances or simply a Fragrance Consultant who, by telling the story of a perfume, invites the customer to enter a world of dreams and passion; these are the winning keys in this new era that will see ADAMIS increasingly a leader and Mario Conti expression of quality. I am proud to be at the head of Editorial Director this Holding made of wonderful people. mc@livingadamis.com @ mrconti000

oday, makeup is conceived as an accessory to wear and reinvent based on a particular outfit. Now more than ever, the beauty industry is keeping in step with fashion, presenting alluring and captivating new looks at the beginning of each season and becoming the modern interpretation of timeless femininity. There are countless new products for Autumn 2016: some with a retro vibe, others with an unmistakable mix & match style, and still others that are romantic and radiant. So let’s raise the curtain to present an exceptional sneak preview: Yves Saint Laurent’s Scandal capsule collection is perfect for a bold woman who loves to dare with noir contrasts. The eyes -- the undisputed stars of this look -- are defined by the new Couture Eye Marker eyeliner pen: thanks to its formula rich in

parfum TOM FORD BLACK ORCHID LALIQUE EDITION The success of the Tom Ford Beauty collection began with Black Orchid, a fragrance considered a milestone with which the visionary designer (but also an architect and director) began building his beauty empire. Launched in fall 2006, Black Orchid is still considered the fragrance that not only marked a turning point for the entire market, but remains a point of reference in the designer fragrance segment. To celebrate the 10th anniversary of Black Orchid, Tom Ford presents the Black Orchid Lalique Edition, which is only available in Italy at the Tom Ford boutique in Milan (only 1,000 pieces were produced worldwide). EDP 100 ml € 830,00

LANCôME LA NUIT TRÉSOR CARESSE La Nuit Trésor – now a symbol of intense, profound love – has been reinvented into a fragrance that is like a delicate, feminine caress. The Eau de Parfum Caresse highlights a new version of the luscious, addictive rose blended with the finest ingredients to create a perfect osmosis with the skin. The queen of flowers is now pastel pink with exquisite softness. It is blended with a luscious accord of tonka bean and almond blossom. A touch of fresh, silky sweetness emerges through the white musk accord. Damask rose essence is refreshed by the combination of bergamot essence and raspberry and lychee accords. Red berries give the fragrance a touch of character. These gourmand blends enhance the skin. EDP 50 ml € 64,00

VERSACE VERSACE POUR HOMME DYLAN BLUE The new fragrance from the house of the Medusa is an aromatic wood fougère with a strong, distinctive character based on the olfactive uniqueness of its precious natural ingredients and molecules of the latest generation. The finest new qualities of natural citrus fruits such as bergamot and grapefruit combined with modern accents of fig leaves give it a distinctive Mediterranean freshness. Aquatic notes add depth and complete the tangy freshness of citrus fruits. Violet leaves with touches of black pepper add a fresh, virile dimension, while innovative and sophisticated woody notes such as ambrox, papyrus and patchouli form the strong and vibrant heart notes of the fragrance. Alluring tonka bean, precious saffron and hints of Pyrogéné incense add warmth and sensuality. A new quality of musk with mineral notes accentuates its intense and seductive character.

EDT 50 ml € 62,50

ZADIG&VOLTAIRE THIS IS HIM! THIS IS HER! The new pair of Zadig & Voltaire perfumes This Is Her! and This Is Him! was inspired by an encounter between two timeless fragrances. Each scent, composed of the finest ingredients, caresses the skin, making a statement that reflects the casual-chic style of the maison. Strong, distinctive personalities set the mood in the head notes: jasmine for her and citrus notes for him. Rocker accords of benzoin and incense are blended with the softness of chestnut or vanilla cream. Feminine white and masculine black find the perfect balance in unpredictability. In their wake emerges an artsy Parisian vibe: woody sandalwood is the irresistible signature of Zadig & Voltaire. This is Her! EDT 50 ml € 70,00 This is Him! EDT 50 ml € 53,00

AGONIST WHITE LIES White Lies is a bewitching fragrance as seductive as an attractive little white lie that promises to reveal a more profound truth. Fresh and inviting head notes of lemon, blackberry and lychee are followed by heart notes of jasmine, tuberose and heliotrope. Profound, sensual base notes of patchouli, vanilla and orcanox make this fragrance unique and unforgettable. EDP 50 ml € 125,00

SANTA EULALIA ROSA APRILIS The collection of fragrances from the historic Barcelona boutique includes six scents in a design box created by graphic artist Mario Eskenazi. This last fragrance is inspired by the first roses of the year, a symbol of the Catalan city. Head notes of bergamot and anise and fragrant heart notes of iris finish with base notes of musk and wood. EDP 75 ml € 110,00

BLOOD CONCEPT XX METRO VELVET & XY NUDE WOOD XX and XY are the chromosomes that define our male or female gender. The two new fragrances by Blood Concept confuse this concept, blending masculine and feminine notes that are daringly combined and deconstructed. The two unisex creations are as intriguing and mysterious as the surreal and alien fantasy of the White Duke, who was loved and interpreted by Blood Concept creators. EDP 50 ml € 135,00

Seventy-three years have passed since 1943, when the famous poster by J. They are recommended for travelers seeking a unique experience without sacrificing comfort and for people who love privacy, silence and pampering. Let’s discover them. There is a historical landmark in the town of Amberg in Bavaria dating back to 1728. Built by a landowner who wanted to take advantage of the two and a half meters between two existing buildings, the house was used by engaged couples who had to prove they had a home to get married (the German name EheHaus means “Marriage Home”). The Eh’häusl is a genuine temple of well-being and exclusiveness and holds the official title of the world’s smallest hotel. The German address, in fact, has a single bedroom. HEALTH & FITNESS

t is a fact that cosmetic surgery is no longer a prerogative of women, and it is certainly no secret that men have since discovered the benefits of plastic/cosmetic surgery for themselves to improve imperfections large and small. According to figures provided by the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons, the number of operations performed in 2016 increased by about 13% compared to the previous year. Whether using fillers or a scalpel, soft or invasive techniques, the help of a surgeon is always welcome. Facelift surgery is the top procedure chosen by Italian men and is closely followed by gynecomastia surgery, which is the reduction of male breasts. Recently, however, the debate has shifted to another type of operation that sculpts the abs because the desire for a flat stomach and sculpted “six-pack” remains the aspiration of many men who are willing to undergo cosmetic surgery to imitate the paragons of beauty around us. But can surgery sculpt your abs? While abdominal definition is always obtained through regular exercise and a balanced diet, in recent years a certain type of surgery has arrived to help those who want to improve their appearance with sculpted abs. “Abdominal etching” - sculpting a “false six-pack” - requires modification of the skin, fat tissue and dermal tissue through a procedure called scarification to create scars that are almost identical to the six-pack effect. In practical terms, false muscles are defined within the fat tissue on the dermis level. The definition is only artificial, so if you gain weight you get a “wavy” abdomen with a false “six-pack” that is decidedly unattractive. Therefore, this procedure has nothing to do with the tummy tuck that obtains a natural result, which is always the goal of cosmetic surgery. Many surgeons and various associations have expressed an unfavorable opinion of the technique that has little to do with conventional cosmetic surgery. Another technique providing a temporary result but fewer complications sculpts abs using a highly cross-linked hyaluronic acid. Everyone has a perfectly legitimate desire to have a body

that reflects their aspirations, but they must take into account the fact that there are limits. This is where the role of the surgeon comes into play, who is not a mere executor of the patient’s wishes, but a specialist who can advise what is best for each person according to his needs and possibilities.

Civility or barbarism? A debate that continues to be discussed to this day

treet or urban art is a creative visual form in public places. Born as a phenomenon in the US in the late ’70s, it quickly spread overseas, attaining an incredible audience and attention from the media. Graffiti, murals and tags now appear before our eyes on a daily basis, in every corner, on the facades of buildings and houses, on railway carriages and in subway stations, on road signs, on walls in city centres and suburbs. Is it art or vandalism? Civility or barbarism? Let’s start by clarifying a few points. The practice of graffiti is perceived by society as a real social problem: a vandalism that destroys the dignity of towns and

their artistic heritage. But it is essential to distinguish between simple daubers, “vandals” it is right to prosecute, from real artists. Just as in ancient times primitive man scratched and drew in caves, so graffitists today consume spray cans on city walls: little has actually OCTOBER-NOVEMBER

What is referred to by Land Rover as the most luxurious SUV convertible in the world has an appeal relying on a dynamic and refined exterior design, combined with the comfort and high quality of a four-seat interior. The profile of the Range Rover Evoque Convertible

CARS remains true to its fixed-roof sibling despite being fitted with a soft top that automatically opens like a fan in just 18 seconds, while it takes 21 to be raised, all while driving at a speed of up to 48 kph. Great attention has been paid to safety issues. The vehicle has a Roll-Over Protection Device

with extractable but hidden rollover bars in the rear body panels. All the engines are aluminium four-cylinder models, available in both petrol and diesel versions and with manual or automatic transmission, including the excellent 9-speed automatic. Prices start at 50,000 euros.

hirty works can be seen outdoors along the banks of the River Loire, some of them on temporary display and others permanent, in what is effectively an open-air museum that can be explored by boat or bike, for the joy of lovers of contemporary art. The initiative stems from a project by Jean Blaise, born in 1951 and now artistic director of major cultural events: this will be a real “live” experience of the artist’s aesthetic activities along the route of the Loire over a distance of about 60 km between Nantes and Saint-Nazaire. Created directly on the spot by internationally renowned artists, the works

of art are accessible free of charge and throughout the year, from the river or from land. For the boat option, excursions departing from Nantes and SaintNazaire, are operational only from April to October. The visit, which lasts about 2 hours and 45 minutes, is commented in real time by an expert guide. The “Estuaire art collection” makes it possible to enjoy a visual, tactile and sometimes dreamlike experience, and also to discover a region, the oceanic Loire, in its least known aspect: unique views of the villages, natural environments, marshes, fishing scenes, industrial landscapes, flora and fauna. pokèmon go

P

okémon Go, the iOS and Android app of the most famous game (and anime) of all time, a common trait of the adolescence of millions of fans around the world, became a reality in Italy with the official launch on 15 July 2016. Or rather, an augmented reality. Thanks to the incredible technology that exploits geolocation using GPS, Pikachu and his friends have made their brilliant entry into the lives of everyone. After the pioneers in Australia and the United States, Pokémon Go has arrived in Europe and between controversy and new updates, is spreading everywhere, against all expectations imposing new rules of social interaction. The application is very simple. Developed by Niantic, a US software company, it makes use of Google maps and basing itself on places of interest intercepted by Ingress – an online augmented reality venue – it gives the player the opportunity to add a twin reality to that being experienced, in which at any time you can capture new Pokémons, strengthen your team in gyms and make your team dominate those of other players. Wandering around using the maps like a common navigator, you can walk around your neighbourhood and find a “gym” to win at the station near home or, in the park where you walk the dog, you might find a Pokéstop, a sort of filling station for trainers to get Pokéballs, the balls used to capture the creatures, potions and revitalisers to put them back on their feet after a battle. The hunt for the 150 Pokémons – a number that includes only those of the first generation, but which is sure to grow with future updates – is long and difficult. And to catch them all, you have to walk a long time in order to

accumulate kilometres on the pedometer and encourage the hatching of eggs that might reveal the rarest creatures that are difficult to capture otherwise. In addition, to round off your team, you will need to explore the most varied environments: the most interesting of the grassland Pokémons live deep within the forest, those of water near rivers, lakes and seashores, and the great and rare dragons in the most desolate uplands. And while in America, the first studies show that the application is proving an unexpected

weapon against obesity among young people and a valuable tool for encouraging socialisation, in Italy and in the rest of the world Pokémon hunting fever is rampant, giving rise to curious anecdotes which hover between practical joke and reality. Would you believe it would ever be possible to trip up a perfect stranger in Central Park just to capture a wild Charizard? And if you do not yet know what this is, try searching for Charizard on Google! Meanwhile, Gotta catch’em all!

HOROSCOPE ‘16 ARIES 21.03/20.04 The autumn promises a challenging season for those born under the sign of Aries: misunderstandings with the people around you may be appeased only by putting aside your a g g re s s i v e a n d b u l l y i n g instincts. Interesting amorous encounters are foreseen that could lead to something lasting. Under the favourable planetary influence, your professional life will show unexpected successes. Mars, your ruling planet, will direct positive energy flows.

GEMINI 22.05/21.06 Thanks to Venus in Sagittarius, love will reawaken after a period of misunderstandings with your partner. If you have started a love story recently, it is important to live it without rushing; enjoy it lightly, to avoid any pressure. In your professional life, some difficulties need to be addressed with greater discipline and precision. Spend a little time with friends and family to regain the serenity and happiness that belong to you by nature. Smile always!!!

LEO 24.07/23.08 A very positive period is about to start for you, an inner rebirth that will also draw in those around you. A sense of strong understanding with your partner will come from the sky. Thanks to the influence of Venus, you will feel the need to experience love with passion and romance. As regards work, Mars will give you a strong physical and emotional charge that will help you in activities where you need common sense. Considerable progress in the family budget thanks in part to your partner’s role.

TAURUS 21.04/21.05 The influence of Jupiter at an angle to Pluto could make you especially romantic; for established couples, plans for a child could start to peep over the horizon. If you are single, in October that special someone will capture your attention and the torpor in which you were vegetating for a while will give way to the sort of enthusiasm that comes before falling in love. At work a helpful colleague will help you resolve some unexpected scrapes with your boss. Finances on the up!!!

CANCER 22.06/23.07 The position of Neptune could influence relationships between stable couples, who can now overcome all the dead ends of recent months. You must learn to calibrate your daily tasks leaving time to devote to him/her. In the workplace, Jupiter will give you a positive magnetism that will take the place of the tensions you have been living through recently. Do not fall into the trap of fruitless discussions with colleagues... Look out for unexpected news!!!

VIRGO 24.08/23.09 The influence of Saturn, you will experience a period of slight uncertainty with your long-term partner, while for singles the buzzword is interior and exterior renewal. New acquaintances lie ahead on the horizon, you must moderate the mistrust that distinguishes you when you are introduced to someone. Work will go through a positive period, and you will be credited for your material skills and attention to detail by both bosses and colleagues. Watch out for the first cold snap!!!

october/november LIBRA 24.09/23.10 On the emotional level you will live a special period: long-term relationships will be stressed by Jupiter, but those of you who have got through the seven-year itch will experience a revival of closeness. Your working life could enjoy a breakthrough with the success of the most ambitious projects you have been developing little by little. Mars will give you a flow of positive energy that will strengthen your innate diplomacy and seductive charm!!!

SAGITTARIUS 23.11/21.12

Yo u r n at u r a l n e e d fo r freedom could bring a period of dissatisfaction in very stable couples or live-in relationships: you will have the feeling that your partner is invading your space and daily routine will need to be pepped up with new external stimuli. You will know how to negotiate some interesting proposals in the workplace and, with the right sacrifices, the results will soon come in. Finances on the up thanks to unexpected earnings!!!

ACQUARIUM 21.01/18.02 The stars will affect your happiness and joy of love for these two months but try to live these feelings naturally or your partner might become suspicious! For singles, better to break entirely with the past and open up to new acquaintances among whom there may be a very special person. At work you may obtain some favours from a person who matters who will help you show your talent thanks to your verve. Free yourself from anxiety.

SCORPION 24.10/22.11 In love, you will experience a period of calm after the impatience and impulsiveness that caused the whirlwinds of recent times. Now’s the time to leave the jealousy you have by nature and regain confidence in your partner. Communication, facilitated by Mercury, will help you recover your relationship. Financial transactions will be favoured at this time but be careful not to take risks!!! Changes at with the start of a new job.

CAPRICORN 22.12/20.01 The position of Mars and Pluto will enable you to experience your relationship as a couple with plenty of sensuality, giving you a desire for new experiences. If you are single, there will be lots of possibilities for pleasant meetings. Business and easy earnings are on their way but be careful at the end of October, better turn down an offer which looks a little shady. Your daily commitment to work will gratify you more than usual.

PISCES 19.02/20.03 Venus is in a hostile position for the first few days and may not allow you to live your relationship in the best way, but immediately after the transit in Sagittarius will make you rediscover the deepest emotions, clearing away that longing for solitude that led you to distance yourself from your partner. Single people may enjoy intense love and fleeting passions that leave a mark... At work, you will show such enthusiasm and determination that you will confirm yourself once again as number one!!!
