This 16km journey takes riders past the National Museum of Australia, across Scrivener Dam and past the National Zoo & Aquarium and the Government House Lookout. It continues on through the leafy Westbourne Woods near the Royal Canberra Golf Club and then past the Canberra Yacht Club and across Commonwealth Avenue Bridge.
Known as the ‘bridge to bridge’, this 4.9km loop from Kings Avenue Bridge to Commonwealth Avenue Bridge takes in the Parliamentary Triangle, home to many of the city’s national attractions, and is popular with locals and visitors alike, especially on weekends. You will be riding along the R G Menzies and Australians of the Year walks.
This 9km route takes riders past the Kingston Foreshore precinct towards Fyshwick and through the Jerrabomberra Wetlands Nature Reserve, returning back towards the lake’s Central Basin.
