Acts is pleased to invite you to attend the 2025 Acts Leadership Conference. This year’s conference, to be held at the Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay Resort in Cambridge, MD from March 31 to April 3, 2025, should prove to again be a memorable event. The Acts Leadership Conference Task Force has been working hard to develop informative and interactive educational opportunities, along with a variety of exciting social and cultural events for your enjoyment. To assist you in your conference preparation plans, some helpful points and important details to consider are as follows.



Travel and Transportation –the Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay
For those traveling by air, transportation arrangements are to be made by contacting Michelle Wilson (michelle.wilson@actslife.org or via TEAMS) at the Acts Corporate Services Center to discuss flight preferences. If you plan on arriving prior to March 31, or plan to stay after the conference ends on April 3, discuss your plans with Michelle Wilson at your earliest opportunity. The Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay has extended our contracted rate ($169/night plus taxes and a $15/day Resort Fee) to attendees up to 3 days prior to the conference and up to 3 days following the end of the conference.
Given the location of the conference, most attendees will be driving. Mileage and tolls will be reimbursed. There is no charge for parking at the Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay. For those flying, Acts will reimburse up to $20/day for airport related parking for the period March 31 – April 3. Additionally, ground transportation from the airport to the hotel will be arranged for you through Acts. Your business expenses incurred during travel can be expensed through normal procedures. Acts will reimburse up to $60 for meals on days of travel.
Hotel Check-in And Charges
At arrival to the Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay, please acknowledge your association with The Acts Leadership Conference upon check-in. Your room has been reserved under your name and the daily room charge will be billed directly to Acts. All other charges will be applied to your personal credit card, which you will need to present at time of check-in.
Acts Conference Reception Desk
Representatives of the Acts Leadership Conference Task Force will greet you at the Acts Conference Reception Desk located in the Choptank foyer from 12:00pm until 5:00pm on Monday, March 31. At that time, you will be welcomed and presented with a conference bag containing conference materials. For those who are unable to pick up their bag between the hours of 12:00pm and 5:00pm, you will be able to pick up your bag at the dinner event at the hotel on Monday evening.
Cambridge Weather Forecast
As of this writing, the forecasted temperarture for Cambridge is anticipated to be between the upper 40s and mid 60s during our conference.






Conference Dress
Dress for the conference is business casual (this means ties and sports coats/suits are NOT required). Conference rooms can often be chilly. Please plan accordingly. Attendees are welcome to wear jeans on the last day of the conference (Thursday).
We will be providing each conference attendee with Acts apparel. This year, you will again have a choice of items. Options will be provided under separate cover, and you will be asked to make your selection and size through an emailed link. During the conference, attendees will take a group picture wearing our Acts apparel.
Activities & Events
Dinner and meals will be at the Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay. On Monday, March 31, we will begin with a reception at 6:00pm and dinner at 6:30pm in the Cheapeake Foyer. We are hosting a “First Timers” Reception for those attending the Acts Leadership Conference for the first time beginning at 5:30pm in the Cheapeake Foyer. Dinner on Tuesday, April 1 and Wednesday, April 2 will be “surprise” theme meals and special events.
Conference Website
The “2025 Acts Leadership Conference” website can be accessed through the Acts Team Member Portal. Search Explore Acts and click on Acts Teams. Navigate to the 2025 Acts Leadership Conference. The website will provide continual updates on conference activities as we approach the start of the conference event. However, should you have any questions prior to the conference, please do not hesitate to ask.
We will again be using a Conference App for the event. We anticipate using a new platform; futher information will be provided under separate cover.
