Gardening Recess Adventures
EC students visit the garden beds on Tuesdays and Thursdays during recess and enjoy learning about various herbs and vegetables.
● Weeding and tasting various herbs: rosemary, basil, and spearmint
● Working together to pull weeds and roots
● Cultivate an open mind to tasting new flavors
● Developing sensory-rich and gross motor experiences and allows children to connect with nature.
● The responsibility of caring for plants instills a sense of ownership and achievement, boosting self-esteem.
● Applying units of measurement with rulers to guide depth of planting seeds.
● Increase happiness and confidence during the school day and instill a love for the environment.

Family Fitness Night
Families enjoyed a wonderful night with their loved ones, challenging themselves in various activities.
It was a nice opportunity both for our students to have fun and work together with parents-siblings and for parents to be part of the school community.

Shockingly, Toxic Waste Candy Bars Deemed Unsafe
In October 2023, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission issued a recall statement for Toxic Waste Slime Licker products. The products contain a rolling ball that can detach and cause a choking hazard.
