Mock job interview workshop has been running over than 10 years and reframed to V-Support Mock Interview Program since 2014. The program aims at giving training to the students in relation to interview skills, career and personal planning through different training activities. With the joining efforts with the Government Officials, schools and NGOs in the district, JCI Sha Tin provide a comprehensive training and learning experience to the students. The program can directly advance the JCI Mission by providing the skills and tools to the young people within the local community in order to assist them in increasing competitiveness in job hunting. A series of trainings was carried out in the past few months. We organized with the the Boys' & Girls' Clubs Association of Hong Kong, Royal Bank of Canada, Hong Kong Sheng Kung Hui, Hong Kong Children & Youth Services, and Sha Tin Service Corps. Through conducting mock job interviews, work shadowing scheme and career talks, students would have a better understanding of job interview. The program served over 100 students this year in Sha Tin district and over 500 in the past 4 years.
