⭐ cz Zmizí-li všechny věci, které nás obklopují, od největších objektů až po nejmenší částice, co zůstane kolem nás? Odpověď překvapivě není nic, ale něco. A to něco je jednou z největších záhad, se kterými se fyzici kdy potýkali. To něco je prostor. Prostor je pro většinu z nás cosi, co ani nevnímáme, o čem nepřemýšlíme. Dokument Co je to prostor? ze série Struktura vesmíru dokazuje, že je toho k přemýšlení skutečně mnoho. Fyzik Brian Greene, autor úspěšné knižní předlohy a jeden z předních světových teoretiků strun, osobně provede diváky fascinujícím vývojem teorií o prostoru a vesmíru od Newtonovy statické teorie přes Einsteinovo spojení času a prostoru až po ty nejmodernější zabývající se temnou energií. Greeneův snadno srozumitelný výklad je doplněn o působivé vizuální efekty, které divákům zpřístupní i ty nejnepředstavitelnější věci, jako například projížďku taxíkem rychlostí světla. Kromě toho film přináší rekonstrukce vědeckých objevů, mnoho archivních materiálů a výpovědi předních světových vědců.
