OPENING LETTER
Welcome to Absolute Pitch’s final showcase: A Night At The Grammys! brought to you by our incredibly talented Cast and Band. This show will feature some of our favourite songs that have won or been awarded a Grammy.
My name is Lynn Al Ammouri, and last year, I had the privilege of being part of our amazing final production, The Official Cast Recording, as a cast member. This year, I have been blessed with the opportunity to step up as President and Choreographer, all of which have allowed me to put this show together alongside a wonderful team. Despite the challenges faced along the way, I couldn’t be prouder of every person who has contributed to this club in any capacity.
To the audience, thank you for your constant support. From our coffeehouse to our final show, your love for the wonderful people gracing the stage today is what has kept us going and continuously allowed this club to flourish. We would not be here without you.
To the Band, know that I am beyond impressed with your ability to rapidly arrange and learn roughly twenty songs in very little time. Your determination and drive are inspiring to us all. Thank you for all the work you have put into making this show successful. Without you, the show would not be possible.
To the Cast, you all truly made Absolute Pitch feel like my second family. The constant love, support, and encouragement that you give to each other is admirable. Thank you for bringing the Prod team’s visions to life and for all of your hours of commitment and dedication to this club. I am so proud of all of the growth I have witnessed since your auditions and I hope you look back on all of your progress this year and appreciate how far you have all come.
To the Executive team, thank you for your hard work. You each played an integral role this year, and we wouldn’t have made it to this point without you.
Finally, to my Production team, no ink or paper will ever be enough to express how lucky and thankful I am to have worked with you all. I am beyond blessed and privileged to be part of such a hard-working, creative, collaborative, and supportive team. Your boundless talent, wisdom, and dedication have been truly remarkable and have made this year one that I will fondly look back on forever.
Thank you again for coming, please enjoy the show!
And for one last time: no stress, stay blessed :)

ABOUT US
Established in 2011, McMaster University’s top show choir, Absolute Pitch, blends a variety of musical styles ranging from pop, to musical theatre, to R&B. Through fun and productive rehearsals, members work together weekly to learn choreography, music, and song to bring a wonderful show to life. With many performances throughout the year, you will definitely make lasting memories with us! All of the group’s hard work culminates in a year end showcase for all of our friends, family and the general public.
Through many musical stylings, our greatest inspirations dawn from stories similar to ours. To all the aspiring artists and shower singers out there, a little perseverance and creativity goes a long way. We aspire to one day bring the glamour and showbiz that is shown on Glee and Pitch Perfect to our reality!
Each year, we bring forth a Final Showcase to show what our incredible cast and production team has worked on throughout the duration of the year. Each year, we tackle a new theme. From the ’80s, Broadway, Disney, and Legendary Pop Icons, there’s nothing Absolute Pitch cannot do!
