3219 College St. Savannah, GA 31404
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: March 20, 2012 Contact: Ashleigh Bing 912.660.9588 bing.ashleigh@gmail.com The “Continue Your Education!” Campaign The “Continue Your Education!” campaign was created to increase the awareness of the elements of continuing education after college to Mass Communications seniors at Savannah State University. Continuing education is any training or classes that one takes after completing formal education. The problem is most mass communications students don’t further their education in any way after college, based on primary research. Based on the research, a little less than half of the sample of mass communications seniors at Savannah State University that were surveyed chose not to attend graduate school or receive another degree because they want to take the chance to find a career in their field after college. Mass communications seniors at SSU are not aware of all the opportunities that are offered to them after college. There are so many benefits to gain from graduate school, earning another degree or certificate, and joining professional organizations.

Continue Your Education!

Dear Kathleen Parker, Finish what you started! Today people are complacent with just having a bachelor’s degree. In this competitive world a bachelor’s degree is not enough. It has been proved that a person who has more education than someone with just a college degree makes more money, has a higher job status, and is more marketable than a person who doesn’t. The “Continue Your Education!” Campaign is committed to educating on the benefits that continuing education can offer. It has been found in research that many people do not wish to continue the education because of the stress it can cause, but if they knew the countless opportunities and benefits that could result from this their minds would change. Savannah Morning News readers will benefit greatly from knowing more about the opportunities that continuing your education can offer them. Investing your time in this story will resonate with your readers. I will contact you within a week to give more information. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at 912-660-9588 or via email at bing.ashleigh@gmail.com I look forward to speaking with you.
Sincerely,
Ashleigh Bing
