12TH ARMORED DIVISION MEMORIAL MUSEUM
In just five short months, the 12th Armored Division became one of World War II’s most feared fighting machines. Dubbed the “Hellcat Division,” it played a crucial role in capturing 72,000 German soldiers and freeing several Nazi concentration camps.
Today, the 12th Armored Division Museum preserves this incredible history and offers exciting educational programs for kids and access to historical materials for scholars. Come on down and see why the 12th Armored Division was truly a force to be reckoned with!

Established in 2017, Belt Buckle Distillery is the Big Country's first distillery. Its Paint Creek Gin is named after the nearby place where the Comanche Nation made their war paint. The refreshing spirit is made of juniper and 16 other flavors, with a prominent cucumber note. Belt Buckle’s other offering, "13 Arrows" bourbon, honors a legendary story of Fort Chadbourne where a soldier, despite being hit by 13 arrows, survived thanks to the fort's strong liquor.
