Leaf Characteristics: dark green, broad, drooping; Leaf sheath, purplish-green with few trichomes and light wax; inner auricle short lanceolate, outer ascending transitional, semi-self detrashing

Stalk Characteristics: medium to thick, brownish-green, cylindrical with moderate wax, bud grove absent, corky cracks/patches present; growth cracks absent; bud obovate

Average Millable Stalk: 11.24 stalks per sq. m

Average stalk weight: 1 40 kg

Average stalk diameter: 3 04 cm

Potential Yield: 177 26 TC/Ha; 2 08 LKg/TC

Habit of Growth: Erect to recumbent, fast grower

Flowering: Very sparse

Leaf Characteristics: Medium size, erect with drooping tips having short inner lanceolate auricles. Leaf sheaths are green with soft long sparse trichomes. It is self detrashing.

Stalk Characteristics: Medium (2 89 cm), very waxy, semi-bobbin to cylindrical, yellowish green stalks with shades of purple with corky cracks and patches. It has shallow short bud grooves and oval eyebuds with narrow wings

Average Millable Stalk: 7 50 stalks per sq m at harvest

Potential Yield: 2 41 LKg/TC; 129 92 TC/Ha

Reaction to Diseases: Resistant to smut, downy mildew and leaf scorch, and susceptible to yellow spot
