As we embrace the spirit of March, we not only celebrate the incredible achievements of women throughout history but also reflect on the success of the AAPI Chamber's Year of The Dragon Celebrations.
First and foremost, I extend my heartfelt thanks to each one of you who joined us at our Year of The Dragon Celebrations. Your presence illuminated the event, turning it into a joyous and memorable occasion. The diverse tapestry of our community was on full display, and it was a testament to the strength that comes from unity.
As we transition from the festivities of the Year of The Dragon Celebration, we also acknowledge the significance of March as Women's History Month. It is a time to honor the extraordinary contributions of women who have shaped our world. From trailblazers in various fields to the unsung heroes making a difference in our communities every day, we salute the resilience and accomplishments of women.
I am thrilled to announce the launch of #KAFL, AAPI Chamber's Women's Group, a dedicated space for empowering, inspiring, and connecting the women within our community. This initiative aims to foster collaboration, mentorship, and support, creating an environment where women can thrive both personally and professionally. I encourage all women in our network to join
Wishing you all a March filled with celebration, reflection, and inspiration.

The AAPI Chamber Foundation is one of the 88 nonprofit organizations who were awarded the Las Vegas Super Bowl Host Committee & NFL Foundation Legacy Grant.
AAPI Chamber Foundation will use the funding to create a free, 8-week after-school digital content creation program in East Las Vegas for 20 middle and high school students to develop skills in digital content creation, including video production and editing, website design, graphic design, animation, video game and app design, and social media marketing.
We live in a digital age. The 2020 pandemic brought to light the reality of the continued evolution of our digital landscape in today’s society. It’s rare to find an industry or a company that doesn’t lean on some digital aspects to promote their products, run their business, or keep up with digital trends. The possibilities for careers in the digital economy are numerous and some of these jobs do not require a 4-year college degree.
Today’s employers are looking for well-rounded talent who bring multiple skill sets to the table. And this career-readiness program will provide a balance of the technical and creative transferable skills needed for students to realize career opportunities in today’s digital economy and be successful in the workplace.
The program will start in East Las Vegas and then expand to the other neighborhoods throughout the valley. Please stay tuned for the launch this summer!
