CE RTIFICATION PROGRAMS The Apartment Association of Greater Orlando is proud to offer several nationally recognized certification programs to its members. These programs are taught by certified instructors and testing is done on site.

CE RTIFIED POOL OPERATOR, CPO Through the National Swimming Pool Foundation, AAGO is an approved provider of the CPO certification. This is a 2-day course which includes the certification exam.

EPA REFRIGERANT HANDLING CE RTIFICATION The Federal Clean Air Act, Section 608, requires that persons who service air conditioning and refrigeration systems containing certain refrigerants be certified under an approved Federal Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) approved course. Through the ESCO Institute, AAGO is able to offer this Universal Certification.

Prequisite: you must have one year of apartment or rental housing maintenance experience before being eligible to receive the certificate; successfully completed the seven courses and online content listed below (which total 90 ½ hours); and meet all examination requirements within 24 months of declaring your candidacy for CAMT.

CAM training helps you manage your apartment community and your team more effectively. The National Apartment Association Education Institute (NAAEI) offers this nationally recognized designation to apartment industry professionals who want to advance their career in apartment management.

Prequisite: you must have worked in the apartment industry for at least 12 months; successfully completed the nine courses listed below (which total 55 ½ hours)and meet all examination requirements within 12 months of declaring your candidacy for CAM.

Suppliers are important liaisons to the multifamily housing industry. This program is designed as an opportunity for suppliers to hear the everyday challenges faced by the apartment manager customer. The CAS program is ideal for new salespeople as well as veterans of the industry.
