I started in the industry I was 22 years old. I was lucky to have the best leasing manager Jasmine Walker. She taught me that everyday I should strive to be a better version of myself. If I got one lease on Monday, then Tuesday the goal was 2. I still live by that single principal she taught me back in 2014. We were able to write our goals down and vision how we were going to make them reality. During the course I developed a 5 year plan to owning my own management company! Future Leaders allowed me to meet mentors, and network with people who will impact my career in a positive way. Another goal I had was to be promoted to Assistant Manager. I am proud to say that as of December, 2019, I reached that goal. I am super thankful for AAGO! How old were you when you started in the industry and what was some advice you received?
