The triangle is the strongest shape which is able to bear large loads without deformation. This is because triangle cannot be deformed without changing the length of one of its sides. As a result, using the triangle foundation is able to build a higher building.
Some details are still used triangle in order to be a more stable building.
The red dot is a kind of planar truss. A truss consists of one or more triangles connected at panel points. Both of tensile and compressive forces are act at the panel points. It is able to balance the stretching and compressive forces inside the structure.
This picture shows how a triangulated structure withstands forces.
Due to the short of materials, we decided to continually build in triangle structure. Using triangulate structure is able to save the material because triangulate structures have only three sides.
This is other group’s work which is still using triangles to build. Although this structure looks like simple, the triangulated structure is able to support this high structure. Each side of triangle supports each other.
