Talent recruitment is one of the top workforce issues as businesses struggle to find enough workers. The Chippewa Falls Area Chamber of Commerce focuses on finding solutions supportive of businesses to combat this concern. Since its inception in 2019, the Workforce Program has aimed to entice skilled workers to choose our community. In 2021, we successfully implemented an eight-month digital marketing campaign that shared why Chippewa Falls is a wonderful place to raise a family and a business. The campaign generated 3.5 million impressions and more than 61,000 clicks to sponsors’ job listings. In direct response to our digital placements, we also sent out 98 personalized relocation packets and those prospective employees received continued interaction from our team through email and bi-annual “Living Here” emails with community storytelling. We expect this program to expand as Chippewa Valley businesses continue to reach out for support. New in 2022, videos will feature member testimonials of their experience in Chippewa Falls that made them choose to live, work, and play here.
