So this is very much a family feast. Those of you who know Fr Charles will know that he has a very special devotion to St Joseph so Monday should be a special day to pray for him. Saturday is the beautiful feast of the Annunciation, when the Archangel Gabriel brought the good news to Mary that she would conceive and bear Jesus, the Son of God. FR CHARLES: Sadly Fr Charles is not going to be well enough to return home; he is saddened by this, but accepts the guidance from the hospice. He has asked for visitors to be only family members and Passionist brethren. He is so very grateful for the prayers, the visits and the many many cards. DISASTERS EMERGENCY COMMITTEE: the group of major aid donors has called for emergency help for upwards of 16 million people facing starvation in East Africa and Yemen. There will be an opportunity to contribute after all the Masses next weekend. We realise that you have been more than generous to CAFOD and to the Columban Missionaries already this month….but please bring something extra if you can next weekend. Christian Meditation each Tuesday at 2.15pm in the Upper Room & on each Thursday at 7.30pm (Upper Room)
