For me, Black History Month means getting intouch with my roots and also looking up to the different figures who represent black excellence. One person I look up to is, respectfully, Beyoncé She literally has paved the way and also grown in her lifetime and I love her so much I would also highlight Chadwick Bozeman for his role as Black Panther because a lot of kids can see themselves in him. Right now, black boys and girls can see themselves in Marvel movies now instead of just looking at Captain America, producers have helped create a black experience and have youth see themselves in our media and our movies and real life as well
